Definetly the best Trek Movie made with Nick Meyer at the helm, this film has too many highlights to mention, from the sweeping musical score to the pseudo sub-marine battle in the Mutara Nebula. Khan as an adversary, even out-hams William Shatner who, by the way - gives one of his best performances ever, as an aging hero, battling against irrelevence and then fighting for his and his crews lives. Again, Leonard Nimoy puts in a stellar performance as we see Kirk and Spocks somewhat deflated relationship, post Kolinhar (STTMP) rekindled. The battle scenes are entirely 4 dimensional - keeping the audience right on the edge of their seats as seconds tick by in sweat drenched hours, as they realise again and again, (shock, horror) that the good guys might actually lose! Shatner's ... Read More:

'The Search for Spock' continues where 'The Wrath of Khan' left off and its a fine continuation of the franchise. Like many of the original movies, it has dated but that doesnt spoil the fun. This is also the first star Trek film where the Klingons take on the role as the major villians. The original crew still all look yound enough to make it believable and there are some inpressive visual effects for a sci-fi movie this old. A must for even the most casual of Star Trek fans.

From The Dead Of Night [1989]

starring: Lindsay Wagner, Bruce Boxleitner, Robin Thomas, Robert Prosky, Merritt Butrick
directed by: Paul Wendkos

From the plot sypnosis this film sounded like a good old chiller kind of thriller. However not even 30 minutes into the film and you know it is going to be otherwise. The film drags in a lot of places, though does proove to be quite exciting and a little scary in others.Or maybe it was just my heart that almost jumped through my ribcage,on one or two occasions. The only belivable performance in the film is that of Lindsay Wagner. Also another major drawback is length, to say it is too long is being kind. Not a terrible film, nor is it good I think long and dissapointing best sums this up.
