You know when you're drunk and talking drivvle with your friends. You discuss subjects like the children's progammes you used to watch, school teachers you had, the best of some things and the worst of others. This film, which I saw many years ago, yet still haunts my memory is my answer to the question, "What's the worst film you've ever seen?" My answer is always, and I mean always, 'Waiting to exhale, with Whitney Houston'. That is three hours of my life that I want back. I rest my case.

This is a wonderful low-budget grindhouse movie from Rogar Corman, yet Amazon have put the wrong running time, the correct running time is 76 minutes, which sad to say means the film is still cut by 9 MINUTES of its orginal running time and yet its still a 18, just a sad sign of our times!

Richard Gere in unfamiliar territory, as a devious and dangerous bent cop.
His character bends the rules and skims money from protection rackets, drug deals and prostitution. Andy Garcia works within the Internal Affairs (cops watching cops as they say) department and Gere's vicious, murderous reign is uncovered. Very clever and fast moving film. >>More Details |

One False Move is basically a modern day remake of High Noon wich I feel is just as good if not better than the afformentioned film. The western theme of the movie is ever present with small time hick sherrif Bill Paxton lying in wait for the drug dealing physcos murderers.The direction is very assured from debut boy Carl Franklin and the performances are really affecting, especially Bill Paxton. The scene in which Paxton's dreams of becoming a big city cop are crushed by the two FBI agents is haunting as you see all of Paxtons emotion drain from his face. I regard this scene as a classic and Bill Paxton has never been better.

We looked forward to this sequel as my 2 boys absolutley loved the 1st Like Mike. What a disapointment though, the story line is exactly the same as the first with different characters though with none of the fun and adventure and magic of the first.Just a cheap re-hash I'm afraid.
