Withnail & I is easily my all time favourite film, there is no other film that I could watch over and over like this one without getting bored. It's the most consistently funny, touching, quotable film I've ever seen. Richard E Grant's performance is sublime and he has never been anywhere near as brilliant as this. The plot is wonderfully simplistic - 2 out of work actors go for a holiday in the lake district to 'rejuvenate' and end up staying in a derelict cottage and suffering a series of 'mishaps'. A wonderful soundtrack, and faultless performances add to it's appeal, and the dialogue is simply hilarious. The extras on this DVD are pretty good, about as complete as you're likely to get, and the inclusion of a bonus soundtrack of the incidental ... Read More:

The Mighty Ducks trilogy is without a doubt the best sports trilogy of all time. A real happy, funny, feel-good, movie for all the family, young and old.
This movie introduced me to the world of ice hockey at a young age, and inspired me to give it a go.
"The Crow" is excellent in so many ways. First, Brandon Lee is unique, torn between grief and eagerness to avenge his and Shelley's death, the directing is outstanding and far above the standard of this genre, the visuals are a blast. In fact the entire cast - even the smaller roles - were excellently cast. There is nothing bad I can say about this movie. A MUST SEE!

It is almost inaccurate to call this DVD a single movie. 'Moonwalker' is more like a collection a mini-movies and watching it is a journey. You can never be sure what will come up next.
The dvd begins with fabulous performances of 'Man in the Mirror' from Michael, filmed live in two different locations and teamed with a picture montage of famous do-gooders. From here we are treated to clips from Michael's career and a re-enactment of the 'Bad' video by children.
My favourite part of the movie comes up next though, where various claymation fans pursue Michael through Hollywood studios and he transforms into a rabbit. 'Speed demon' kicks in and later Michael and the rabbit have a dance duel.
The award winning and fascinating music video for 'Leave me alone' ... Read More:

Not an all region disc as described. It is region B only. I can't play it and I can't return it. I contacted the vendor about it and got no reply. Don't trust the product descriptions. I learned the hard way.
There are sites where you can look up the region status for blu-ray movies.

Gridiron Gang has lots going for it. It's not exactly just a sports movie, it's also a social drama. At times the mix of the two doesn't blend perfectly in terms of entertainment, it's a little like two different movies merged into one, but at least it's a little different. The performances from the cast are all extremely good too. The Rock is actually turning into a very fine actor and at no point is he anything less than believable in his role as the sports coach. The supporting cast are all excellent too, and there aren't too many corny sugar coated moments, although there are a few.
I didn't even realise this was based on a true story until the end credits when documentary footage of the real Mustangs team was played out.
All in all a very competent effort that seems ... Read More:

You know when you're drunk and talking drivvle with your friends. You discuss subjects like the children's progammes you used to watch, school teachers you had, the best of some things and the worst of others. This film, which I saw many years ago, yet still haunts my memory is my answer to the question, "What's the worst film you've ever seen?" My answer is always, and I mean always, 'Waiting to exhale, with Whitney Houston'. That is three hours of my life that I want back. I rest my case.

Space Jam as a movie has always held a special place in my heart. Being 12 years old as of this review, I have to say this movie has aged really well. Starring a real comic legend in Bill Murray and an acting great, Danny DeVito doing a voice over; this movie was destined to succeed. The real surprise for everyone was the performance of Michael Jordan. Although not exactly Sidney Poitier he did his job of being the face of this movie and when you make a movie with basketball as the main focus, you couldn't not have Michael Jordan.
The story goes that aliens from a theme park world named Moron Mountain, need a new attraction. Whilst throwing around ideas the evil boss, Mr. Swackhammer decides that he must get the Looney Tunes. He sends his cronies to Looney Tune land and get the Looney Tunes; ... Read More:
