This is a great action film and a good nights viewing if you want one liners, stunts, car chases and a nice big selection of guns look no further. Mr Connery as always brillant acting, he is truely a screen legend and he shows us why in this. A must in any DVD collection.

Nice easy to watch film, passes the time and a bit more. Drew Barrymore, I find, is sweet and appealing as an actress but never too much, can usually enjoy watching her, and that is the case here too. She carries the film along, and David Arquette is good fun as her brother. Enjoyable and with a happy ending but not too sweet, just.

As soon as i finished watching season 1, I ordered this region 1 dvd from amazon.
The first year bowled me over as a piece of great, original television unfolded before my eyes. I wasn't sure it could get any better, but it did.
Season 2 takes us on a more complete journey into the minds and lives of the characters. The show stays true to what made it so good, but adds greater depth and creativity; everyone seems to be on a mission to find themselves, or are at least trying to recapture who they think they are.
Dexter's life becomes much more complex as his web of ever increasing lies constantly threatens to come undone and wreck the lives of almost everyone. A special mention should go to all the suppoting cast, especially Jennifer ... Read More:

if i was running the oscar nominations at all back then this would have won every single award goin...this film was advertised in such a way that i had to go see what real horror was coming about and i left that screening a very happy adolescent at that time it was sheer class and of any horror i have come across in any genre this was very much in a world of its own...it may have been a mock documentary but boy you cannot and will not ever in my opinion beat what i saw that night it was original and untouched....i have loved many films of all genres but the blair witch project is an instant classic even before you see this...everyone has different opinions on different matters including film but for me when it comes to a masterpiece there are very few that really ... This ranks with one of the most pointless, drawn out films I have ever watched. After a promising opening sequence one is left with the anticipation that something entertaining will develop. Don't wait! Switch it off 4 minutes in or find something more exciting to do - anything will qualify! This film was made with a great cast, but the script and direction falls into that unnerving category where the expert reviewers must have watched another film with the same title.

More trashy Cruise footage, same rubbish different theme. This is Top Gun but with cars. Mr macho Cruise, well as macho as you can be at 4'9", again puts himself in danger with an exciting possibilty of him being injured in a film but yet again another miraculous escape. The wheelchair bit is a straight ripoff of Talledega Nights, has this man no originality? Its a boring sport to make a film about anyway, driving round and around a loop all day, typically American, this film is schmaltzy and predictable. Look at the cover, its more about his big irritaing face than the cars.

Alright, this was always bound to dissapoint fans of the series, but if you kind of push the thought of that out of your head it makes a decent enough film Sean William Scott and Johnny Knoxville make a suprisingly good double act.
The simple fact is that a classic series had to be degenerated for this generation, which happens to be a generation of morons (I'm a part of it, and I can admit it).
Another problem is that it doesn't really have the same feel of Hazzard County-ness; annoyingly this could have been avoided but occured anyway. The problem is that to make up the bulk of a feature length film based on single-episode stories the writers of this film decided to make them leave Hazzard County. Remember how the League of Gentlemen film felt completely different because ... Read More:

The film looks and sounds bright and bouncy, and it's full of reliable old comic devices like characters absurdly repeating themselves and asking incredulous questions.
It is a not very funny, low budget movie that features a short Clooney cameo.
