A lovely film. Typical in today's world, the first time I heard of it it was on a saturday aft TV. Films like this should have a higher profile in today's cinemas, family oriented, some mild comic violence but nothing graphic. Good cast and story too, excellent.

I normally don't go for Disney family movies like this, but I'm a sucker for a good switching places gimmick. Basically, the plot revolves around Jamie Lee Curtis (the single mom) and Lindsay Lohan (the stereotypically rebellious teenaged daughter) switching bodies for a day after eating some magical fortune cookies. No joke, that's the cause of it. I expected to leave a certain amount of my brain at the door when watching this, so I didn't let this affect my outlook on the rest of the movie. The film's biggest downfall is that the mom and daughter, after switching bodies, don't really encounter any major problems that the average family can relate to. I love this film, its so romanitc, and just a lovely film to watch, I have worn out my video of this film, and would very much like to buy a Region 2 dvd of this film but I am finding it impossible to buy a copy of it anywhere. Can anyone out there advise or help ?

Any fan of the man, in fact, any fan of the game of basketball should own a copy of Ultimate Jordan, the DVD. It's got basically every Michael Jordan highlight ever. I don't need to tell you what's inside - the manufacturer's description does that. What I can tell you is that this was released at possibly the perfect time - after his career with the Chicago Bulls ended and before that painful episode of two years with the Washington Wizards. For the price it's at , I would say give this film a go, it's sweet and funny and although the cover makes it look like a young childs film, I think it is for older children who will understand it's message. The music in this film is fun too and it'll have you tapping your feet, if you love Disney or The Muppets , buy it.

What a wonderful surprise this film is. It is about a young boy who is dumped by his mother onto his two elderly, eccentric uncles who don't like kids and even worse, shoot travelling salesmen for fun! However, the two elderly guys take a liking to the boy when mother deserts him and they start to show him a way of life he could only have dreamed of. Michael Caine is just brilliant. The film is very, very entertaining and has a feelgood factor that makes it very satisfying to watch.
