First off, since I was one of the first to note it, yes it is annoying that this is only half of Season 4 (10 episodes + the Razor TV movie) and that it was being sold for only a few pounds cheaper than the full 20-episode sets of Seasons 2-3. However, given the discount prices it is now available at and the fact that Season 1 (13 episodes) also suffers from this, it's probably not worth getting too upset about it. I suspect the DVD company really wanted episode 410, 'Revelations', as a cliffhanger given its impact and it has to be said it is quite effective. Also, the DVD company has confirmed there will be no 'complete' Season 4 set. The last 10 episodes (and the Plan TV movie) will be released as a seperate set, probably called 'Season 5' ... Almost finished series 3. 3 episodes to go but I'm really losing the will to live.

For me they've broken the 1st commandment of entertainment: Dont be boring.

The major plot: Galactica and co are trying to find Earth whilst being chased by the Cylons.
The sub plot: Baltar and No.6
Everything else: Sub-sub plots.

How much time is spent on the major plot line? about 20 mins.
How much time is spent on the sub plot? 10 mins?
About 20 episodes take up the completely boring sub-sub plots. Do we need 3 weeks of Apollo fancies Starbuck? If people want to watch marriage breakdowns and adulterous affairs they can watch Eastenders can't they? I dont watch BSG for that!
Everything that's ... Read More:

Klaatu: This comes from our own planet, but if you threaten to extend your violence, this Earth of yours will be reduced to a burned-out cinder. Your choice is simple: join us and live in peace, or pursue your present course and face obliteration. We shall be waiting for your answer. The decision rests with you."IMDB

'The Day the Earth Stood Still' was one of the first movies in the 1950's to explore space travel and to provide a warning that "the use of violence as a solution to all problems" is an issue we need to face. All these years later we are still on this path and these words have not been taken seriously. This movie is known as the best Science Fiction movie ever written. 56 years later it still stands up. Patricia Neal had no idea this would ... Read More:

The Robe tells the story of the Roman Centurion Marcellus Gallio who was in charge of the Crucifixion of Christ, almost as an aside to the real point of the fil what happened to the Robe of Christ which was taken off him during the Crucifixion.

This is a rather spiritual and inspiring film. I was moved - but then again I would be! I did find the film a little long and it looks dated now.

This film, made during World War II is pure escapism. The story: Lady of the Manor by day, highwaywoman by night, is basically inaccurate, for in reality few travellers would have ventured to journey after dark, due to the atrocious condition of the roads. But this does not matter, for the romance and adventure contained in this picture is such that one can afford to take such liberties.
Gerry Jackson (James Mason) and Lady Skelton (Margaret Lockwood) compliment each other perfectly. One scene in particular, is a both humourous and poignant. It happens when they are robbing a coach, and Jackson sees a noblewoman whose blonde good looks are such a contrast to the dark-haired beauty of his beloved partner. He therfore gives a passionate kiss to the girl, much to Barbara`s fury; who ... Read More:

This is the sequel to the Robe. After the death of his master -the Centurion Gallio, Demetrius was sentenced to train as a gladiator, not only does he have to contend with swordsmen and wild beasts in the gladiatorial arena, he also had to contend with the evil Messalina and the mad emperor. His newly found Christian faith is tested to the limit in dealing with the evil and sensuous Messalina. Jay Robinson reprises his role once again as the evil and mad emperor Caligula and gave another excellent performance as he did in the Robe. A great sequel to an inspiring story. You can't go wrong with this DVD.

This is the "true" (in essence) story of how the valet of the British Ambassador to Turkey, based in Ankara, managed to steal British WW2 secrets in 1944 and sell them to German Intelligence. As with all "true" stories, not everything is as it really was, particularly the location of the ending, but in essence this is an accurate summation of the events that occurred, based on the postwar book, Five Fingers, by the German attache Moyszich, Cicero's usual and initial handler. What I particularly liked about it (apart from the generally excellent performances, the best being that of James Mason as the suavely villainous valet) was the fact that all the exterior shots were filmed on location in Ankara, Istanbul and elsewhere and only a decade after the events themselves took place. One doubt in my mind: according ... Read More:
