I honestly wasn't expecting much out of this. So I was very suprised when I loved it from start to finish! It has everything we have come to expect of a classic Disney film.. a strong hero/heroine, a hilarious sidekick character, a great soundtrack and a beautiful display of animation. Yes, it really is a great film, with a powerful story and some great characters. Highly recommended.

I may be slightly biased (this is the first horror type thing I ever saw, and basically got me into horror in the first place) but this is just great that is pretty much all I have to say about it

If you want a gritty film thats has a good storyline and fabulously acted parts then this is the one for you.
Bridget plays a ruffian, a drug abusing lowlife who has taken part in a chemist shop slaying whilst her gang was looking for drugs.
She is sentenced to death. They kill her by lethel injection.
Then she wakes up, she has been offered a second chance in life but there are rules, she must behave, obey the rules and follow orders. Gabriel Burne plays the agent that recruited her and its his job to see she flies right and gets with the programme, the main incentive being of course the fact that she is already legally dead, if they wanted to kill her now for misbehaving no one would know any different.
She has a talent ... Read More:

This is a disappointing disk and is very reminiscent of when DVDs first came out.
These first issues were similarly diabolical with no extras.
You either bought a Region 1 DVD or just waited for a decent conversion.
The film starts with pseudo TV which is intentionally of poor quality, I thought this is what previous reviewers were referring to.
Sadly not.
The picture quality of this Blu-Ray disk is very inconsistent, at certain moments the characters are crystal clear but the next scene the whole shot is grainy and ill defined.
I have watched a lot of DVDs on the PS3 upscaled and they look a lot better than this Blu-Ray disk.
Seriously avoid and watch an upscaled DVD which
a) is no ... Read More:

My partner highly recommended this film to me and although I half guessed the end, I thought it was an excellent film.
A litle slow at first, but was soon transfixed - excellent performance from Quinn and Costner and an unusual storyline Impossible not to cry.

Alex Murphy is a good cop and dedicated husband. So when he is killed by gangsters, everyone is devastated. Then Robocop, the crime-ridden big city's first robotic police, officer arrives and takes on the criminals. It isn't long, however, before Murphy's work partner recognises this crime-fighting machine as the supposedly deceased cop. In time, Robocop begins recalling his former existence.
This film is sometimes unfairly treated as a simple action movie. It certainly has plenty of gore and violence, but at the same time it is a parable concerning the de-humanising of the police and the way the force can take over an officer's life, resulting in him losing his family. It's also a dark social satire concerning consumerism, Reagan-era politics ... Read More:
