I was disappointed by the whole of season 2. The story is so depressing, there are very few light moments. It's a real shame because it looks great and it's well acted but it's just depressing.

I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Part 1 of this series. The story is well written with plenty of questions being thrown up. It is very much a mystery and my curiosity led me to carry on watching this way past my bedtime.
I too have found their decision to split the series into two parts for European release a disappointment. Series 1 is now available as a single box set but the pricing is extortionate compared to what USA viewers pay.
I'll be watching Part 2 next and hope it maintains the high standard set by Part 1. I'm certainly eager to find out what happens next.

Very watchable especially for Ally McBeal fans of the series. Better than the soap operas we now have on TV - the characters are fresher, cleaner and more inspiring than the gloomy cast of down and outs in English 'soaps'. A few later episodes in this series become boring with added excessive shouting/arguing which spoils the style of 'Ally McBeal'. This multiple CD set prepares one for the next season of quirky characters who compliment each other well in the serious setting of a law firm, with occasional (surreal) flights of fancy.

It took me several months and a few viewings of episodes to actually get and enjoy! I actually thought it quite a big rip off compared to X-Men and just thought it was another Mutant X (sorry i thought it was crap)!
Its an amazing journey and its nice to see less stand alone episodes of the older style television series of least recent times!
By the end of season 1 you SHOULD have enjoyed the development of the story, charectors and their powers! Like so many superheroes and their powers, they develop and theirs are no exception!
If I was to compare this show to any other or movie, I would say that it takes Unbreakable, multiplies the (im learning im special) superheroes ... Read More:

They thought they were like everyone else... until they woke with incredible abilities.
My Review:
What's that you hear? "A show based on humans with superpowers?" "Hasn't this been done before?" Well, yes; a new show created by producer and writer Tim Kring sees people all over the world discovering their newfound abilities in their own ways, more like X-Men for the common folk. Course with that being said, the characters are...well...common folk.
With several interesting plots that only seem to compare to the 'The 4400' which bares the story of people who are genetically enhanced and sent time-travelling to a specific place in time to alter history, it's fair to say that Heroes does neither of this, or travel in any direction in any shape ... Firstly, you will need a DVD player that will play Region 1 DVD's.
This is where it began, 24 episodes including the double-length pilot. First shown in the UK on BBC 2 in 1986 (and rarely on terrestrial TV since the end of the series in 1989), Moonlighting has aged well even if the hairstyles and clothes haven't. If you can divert your eyes from Maddie's hair disasters, you will notice David's hairline receding as the series progresses.
But Moonlighting wasn't about clothes or hair. It was about Maddie Hayes and David Addison's love-hate relationship. They slam doors, argue, yell at each other at the same time and yet somehow always end up working very well together. Added interest is in the cases they solve, which almost always have an unexpected twist. ... Read More:

I love this season and the end. Poor Ally feels so depressed, it shows how it's hard for the single women, how there are ups and downs... Really great and still funny, though Ally feels depressed at the end. I think it's the part which represents the most the state of the modern single women, the questions asked to themselves. But it's great because it shows that the state is not hopeless and that we don't need a man to be happy!
