I was a latecomer to 'House' but better late than never.
Hugh Laurie plays the miserable yet brilliant Dr. House with some style. You almost forget he is a Brit.
I have watched many hospital dramas - ER, St Elsewhere, Casualty, etc, as there is something uniquely engaging about the medical environment. Those series have been mainly dramas while House is something else. It's a part drama, part sit-com and part geeky medical show.
The basic premise involves patients being admitted to Princeton-Plainsboro Teaching Hospital with very mixed symptoms that complicate the medical diagnoses. House uses his talented young medical team to treat the symptoms but the patients usually take a turn for the worse upon ... Read More:

For some reason this is probably my least favourite season but nevertheless it is still absolutely fantastic. There are some epic moments and episodes here that i would consider my absolute favourites but something just relegates it below the others, i don't know what it is, maybe the bad guy isn't up scratch, either way saying this is my least favourite is hardly an insult.
Top stuff and Jacks rawest ever moment is in this series.

Season 3 and the series just keeps getting better. Good plots, great acting and lots of twists and turns. My favourite of the 3 seasons so far.

The result is never less than enthralling.
Taye Diggs earns his TV show stripes in the lead role of Detective Brett Hopper, evoking the confusion, vulnerability and macho posturing man of action theatrics the part very much demands of him. His arena is that of Los Angeles, and the events of this tumultuous day play out with ... Read More:

I enjoyed this season - most episodes were lively and likeable. Jarod as the avenger of the little guy has a certain charm. Towards the end of the season more mythos came into play, presumably because the creators got the nod for a second season. Andrea Parker is good throughout and unrecognisable from her performance in the much underrated Less than Perfect. Best episode is Keys where Jarod and Parker are trapped by a hurricane.
