Very watchable especially for Ally McBeal fans of the series. Better than the soap operas we now have on TV - the characters are fresher, cleaner and more inspiring than the gloomy cast of down and outs in English 'soaps'. A few later episodes in this series become boring with added excessive shouting/arguing which spoils the style of 'Ally McBeal'. This multiple CD set prepares one for the next season of quirky characters who compliment each other well in the serious setting of a law firm, with occasional (surreal) flights of fancy.

Ok, another spin-off series. expected it to be just ok. In fact i found it one of the best spin-offs I have ever watched. great new characters as well as Addison who we all hated at first but grew to love. Good and different new story lines. And best of all, a new love interest for Addison. Cant wait for season 2

The best place for this film is in your memories if you ever saw it on TV all those years ago. To say it hasn't aged well is the biggest understatement since " Joan Rivers looks like she may have had a little cosmetic surgery"
It is frenetic American sub humour of the Mel Brooks mode. Lots of hammy gurning, running around and if the joke is not funny shout a lot to make it funny. I remembered seeing this on TV and thought it was OK, but that was a long time ago and it just grates now. All those star cameos and it can't lift it up to mediocre. This 3 disk set contains the first five episodes from the 1989 revival of the clasic television series Columbo. The formula is the same as the old 70,s series ie murderer thinks he or she has committed the perfect murder and along comes Columbo to pick it to pieces.
The five episodes included in this set are Columbo Goes To The Guillotine, Murder, Smoke And Shadows, Sex And The Married Detective, Grand Deceptions and Murder, A Self Portrait. Plus you get a bones feature in the form of Americas top 10 sluths which is quite entertaining. All in all a great package and quite cheaply priced. I believe Smallville is the most realistic yet respectable adaption of the superman franchise, as clark kent has still taken on a heroic, larger than life approach to the role, with (for a T.V adaption) surprisingly well created stunts, painted to cinematic perfection with just the right quantity oF CGI to make the man of steel believable to an audience of great expectations.
But this T.V adaption (with the contribution of the cast and crew)has brought a new and deep aspect to the hero's life, a human element;clark is obviously not your home grown american teen (x-ray vision, bullet proof, unmatchable velocity etc) but smallville manages to balance throwing cars with day to day situations and the feelings every teenager inevitably possesses ...
