There is so much to enjoy here. Amy Adams is sensational. Patrick Dempsey is cute. The set up (the Walt Disney cartoon opening, and then the characters arriving in New York) is a joy. It's a shame that it doesn't develop in a more interesting way. The story is very signposted with no real twists. It takes too long for Prince Edward and the Qicked Queen to meet up with Giselle, and so she and Robert spend a lot of time just mooning around waiting for something to happen. But the songs are great, and Amy Adams keeps us interested.

Five stars all the way. Disney are proving that they're the company to beat when it comes to the next gen format. Almost all of their releases so far have been flawless. From the great Ratatouile, the 3D like image on High School Musical and the the stunning Pirates (Black Pearl) they have raised the bar for picture and sound quality. This release is no different. Enchanted is as close to perfect as you can get - the picture leaps of the screen and the sound drags you into the experience. The film itself is fantastic fun for adults and children. The story shows what happens when an animated princess wakes up in modern day New York (as the not so animated Amy Adams) Amy is incredible in this movie - she makes you believe that she's stepped ... This is a lovely Disney film and won't disappoint you. It has left us wanting for me and after having read the reviews we decided to buy Tarzan 2 rather than Tarzan and Jane. It's a lovely and moving story and will entertain young and old over and over again.

Actually this is an enjoyable enough movie for those who love Glenn Close or Ioan Gruffudd, and there are lots of fun elements to enjoy. The parrot who thinks he is a dog is an absolute scream, and the film itself is well made and well shot in my opinion. There is nothing really wrong with it except for the story itself. I can't even fault the script really...I think they did the best they could under the circumstances, and the actors all came up trumps...but as I say it's the story that lets the whole thing down.
Sometimes an original story based on established characters can work well (and has done), but this is not one of them. The story in my opinion is far-fetched even for a Disney film, and rather daft, but all in all it makes the most of what it has, and ... Read More:

This movie is based on the series known as Goof Troop and introduced my favorite female in the show history Roxanne Max's first true love.
I must admit the artist made Roxanne beauiful this movie really makes use of Goofy's name.
Crisis soon starts as Max and Goofy head off on fishing trip but Max needs to get to New York and rock concert a impress Roxanne Max's is the classic teenager moody and sullen as Goofy drags away from Roxanne.
The whole movie is about how Max will hide the biggest lie he has ever told from begin revealed.

No matter how many times I watch, I'm always get carried away with the jokes, touching moments and Eloise's carefree acts. It is such an entertaining and also heart moving movie.
The lines used from The Little Prince also add more value to the plot and I felt so much when Eloise's little prince say it in the memory of his mother.
It worths every second to watch this cause you just don't wanna miss Eloise's next witty move ;P
