On the surface this is a 'love story', although after you pass the half way point it reveals itself as more than that. It is in essence about how people believe what they are told, almost without question and how many of those people act on what they are told and not on observable facts. They are therefore open to manipulation.
This film should be required viewing for anyone called to be on a jury, because it is interesting to see the film maker use you the viewer and your preconceptions to make you believe things that are simply not true.
