With the two modern entries in the Hulk franchise viewers will largely fall into 3 categories - 1) people who prefer this Ed Norton vehicle to Ang Lee's 2003 Hulk because the latter was "too arty" whereas this is more of an action movie; 2) people who prefer the Ed Norton/Louis Leterrier project because it is closer in style to the 1970s Lou Ferrigno TV series; 3) people who prefer the Ang Lee experiment because it drew its influence more from the paper source material and generally felt like a more-rounded movie.
I fall firmly into the third category, although I came into The Incredible Hulk (2008) without any predefined opinions, simply hoping that it would live up to the first film. I was aware that Marvel had decided to distance ... Read More:

It's a real High definition experience! It's a wonderful show, "du grand spectacle" in French.

In 2003 acclaimed art-house director Ang Lee produced the first modern incarnation of Marvel's popular comic-book superhero. These two films are great fun and packed with stunts, quality fights, plenty of good lines and a lot to enjoy. There's no shortage of decent setpieces and you certainly won't be bored watching these. Great stuff.

Whilst not going to win any oscars - this sequel is a treat for action fans, full of great cars stunts, great fights and of course pretty women.
Staham reprises his role as rent a courier Frank Martin, this time filling in for a friend, and transporting a young child to and from school.
The child is kidknapped, and before you can say Man on fire, Statham is out to rescue him.
Whilst not original (or if thought prevails - logical) in plot, this is a fast and diverting film that simply does not slow from the opening car park fight scene to the brilliant Audi verses Miami police cruisers car chase and a final fight showdown on a plunging private jet.
This movie is stuffed full of car chases and ass kicking, unlike the Edith Wharton novel it's based on. This is far better, and great stuff. Watch it.
