300 is a really well done and historically correct film - although the Persians might not like the fact that their entire army of thousands was slain by only 300 Spartans. It therefore was banned in Iran. 300 features impressive battle scenes and is visually brilliant. It also is quite violent but nowhere near its bad reputation. I love this film, it shouldn't really be compared to the original as it is it's own film and should be considered in that respect. The first scenes of zombie action are amazing, they are quite shocking and just consider how you would react to witnessing this sort of thing going on! I never get tired of watching this film and after seeing it several times on tv I finally got around to buying the dvd and was impressed with the extras included, if you are a fan there is plenty on there to keep things interesting. It's a pity that others in the series such as Land of the Dead were such a terrible disappointment! >>More Details

This film is fantastic, the acting is superb. It rings out the standard "ZOMBIE PREDICTABLE HORROR", which most of us love anyway, that's why we watch it! Zombies run (SPRINT) in this, and although to me it wasn't scary, there was ALOT of tense moments 'edge of your seat moments'. As a huge resident evil fan (games), i'm a bit of a zombie purist, "zombie's shouldn't run GRR" but this film is just fantastic. If you like zombie films i recommend it. I do recommend this, although i'd say get it on DVD not UMD, I'm happy with my UMD though, since i like watching it out and about. If you don't specifically want to take it out and about or don't have a dvd player, just get it on dvd. Oh, and the only language is in English.. so no foreign languages ...
