Already owning (and loving) the first Strictly Workout (Erin and Karen's) I was thrilled to find out that a new DVD was coming out. And I'm not disappointed. Flavia and Kelly's offering is fun, fresh and funky.
There are seven sections - Warm up, Salsa, Tango, Quickstep, Slow Jive, Fast Jive and Cool Down. Flavia leads the Tango, and the two jive sections, Kelly leads the Salsa and the Quickstep. Both girls present the Warm Up and Cool Down.
The dances are a little easier to follow than in the first DVD, but no less motivating. For the Salsa, the Quickstep and the Jives, the cycle of moves is repeated three times (the cycles were repeated only twice in Erin and Karen's DVD) therefore there are less steps to remember, ... Read More:

This production may not be accurate and in keeping with the novel but I liked it.
Rupert Penry-Jones and Sally Hawkins have wonderful chemistry together and she as Anne Eliott give s a really moving performance as the heart-broken and long suffering Anne who was 'persuaded', forced,) by her controlling family and dear friend to turn away the man she loved a long time ago, beause he was not suitable for a baron's daughter.
And meeting him again after all these years, both their circumstances have changed. She knows her feelings for him hasn't changed at all and knows agony once more knowing he is ready to settle down and has chosen his bride. He is cold towards her and despite his anger at her when she broke up with him, he can't ... Read More:

Somehow, I rarely managed to watch complete Morse stories, let alone a series of them, on the television. This boxed set has really enabled me to see the developing character Morse and his growing relationship with the long-suffering Lewis, and to experience the full pleasure of the plots. It's true that the murder rate is even higher in Oxford than in St Mary Mead, but we have to allow for artistic licence, and would the stories have been as good if set anywhere else? Contrary to a previous reviewer, I have experienced no difficulty in getting the discs out of the packaging.

Like other reviewers, I recently saw Lee Mack Live at the Apollo. Hadn't seen much of his work before and thought he was brilliant.
He has a real charm about him, a natural delivery, and his interaction with the audience is a joy to watch. Anyone who can deliver impromptu lines that are really clever and really funny at the same time invariably gets my vote.
The sign language sketch is my personal favourite.
Go and buy this DVD if you want to be truly entertained.
It's difficult to imagine any dramatisation of 'Bleak House' being better done. The cast is uniformly excellent and the adaptation successfully captures the 'page-turner' quality of the book. Not to be missed.

I believe the first couple of series are somewhat cheap, a myriad of bad jokes. But, as Fielding and Barratt step up to become writers, this has
been ( in my eyes ) the best series yet. Eels was odd, but was one of the best songs in the history of Boosh.Journey to the center of the punk ismy favourite, although it was blatantly obvious that was copied from a real film. I absoulutely loved the stationary village idea, which was totally original to my knowledge.I try to forget the power of the crimp, as it was not very funny or exciting. I enjoyed everything else, especially Party, with the glorious bouncy bouncy crimp!

Watching these shows makes you realise just what "funny" should be! These are true classics.
I have been crying with laughter at their antics and it has introduced my 15 year old son to the greatest double act since "Laurel and Hardy". He is now a devotee and said he wants this DVD for his kids when he has them!
It is true that some of the jokes were topical to the time of production (and may require a brief explanation as to the references occasionally) but the shows suffer very little for that.
Some of the musical numbers may not be to everyones taste now, but be careful forwarding through them as there is inevitably a comedy ambush lurking in the background!
The timing and interplay between the two is unequaled both now and then. The way Eric can say the most normal ... Read More:
