Having spent months watching animes like Bleach, Naruto and Full Metal Alchemist, I picked up Noein hoping for something a bit different and I wasn't disappointed.
The anime is a coming of age story following a group of kids dealing with friendship and grwoing up, having to leave each other behind. But it also has a more complex story concerning different dimensions and a touch of quatum physics. Although there are complexities to this story it never becomes bogged down in too much science or convoluted plot and there is always a easy to keep focussed on the simplicity of the main story.
The animation is also excellent quality with some truly awaesome actions scenes that bring in an excellent style of animation.

Dragonball Z Season two takes of were season one ended. The box set contain both the Namek and Captian Ginyu Saga's containing 35 episodes on six disks. The whole of the namek saga has been remastered with new dialouge for each character and a whole new music track as heard in Season One. As the set moves onto the Ginyu Saga, Bruce Faulconer's sountrack takes place, replacing the new funimation music with the old. This can been seen as an advantage as Bruce Faulconer's music is more popular throughout Dragonball Z fans. Also as the set continue's through the Ginya saga, dubs, such as Goku's have been left untouched leaving the old dialouge from 1999 which are not so good. Just like season one the original japenese music can be played with English dub.

Like all other Dragonball Z season box set's this set is a MUST buy! It features THE Garlic JR, Trunks and Android sagas. That's 32 episodes on six discs! The DVD set also includes the English DUB with Japanese background music, Japanese and English Dub with US music (Soundtrack from Bruce Faulconer)
The DVD set still remains in its 16:9 format (widescreen)
A major disappointment to this box set is the lack of Re- Dub especially. At the start of the set Vegeta's voice had been Re-Dubbed (Garlic JR saga) but remained untouched from the Trunks saga and onwards) This would have to be the most noticeable voice change as his voice changes from deep to rather high pitched, so if you're a fan of Vegeta's deep voice then you are going to be very disappointed.... ... What is so powerful about this Ghibli film is that it tells us about the final days of the war from the point of view of the Japanese, making it a vital film just on that score. Add to that the brilliance of Ghibli and you have one of the most amazing war films ever made. Having a little girl of my own, it affected me deeply.

I purchased tokko randomly after reading some of the reviews below,
not expecting much more than another forgetable, seen it all before
anime that doesnt really bring anything new to the table.
This third and final season of the truly great Avatar series is something of a season of two halves. The first half of the season sees Aang and his friends go undercover within the Fire Nation in order to wait for the eclipse that will rob the world's firebenders of their power. This first half of the season is good with the group learning new skills and meeting new friends while Zuko tries to settle back into his old life as Crown Prince. Everything changes in the second half of the season with the planned invasion on the Day of Black Sun but not everything goes as planned and the group must find a new strategy to defeat Fire Lord Ozai before he can conquer the world.
This season includes many great episodes with the first half of the season including some truly funny and some well written ... Read More:
