I remember watching this as a youngster on DJ Kat in the 90's and I thought it was absolutely brilliant! The reasons for this are that it had great, movie-like story lines which often had an intelligent theme which people could really relate to, such as persecution, discrimination, time-travel, the role of machines for man's protection, coupled with the whole diverse mutant super power action. But the true greatness of the tv series was the fact that it was NOT dumbed down for little kids and could appeal to a wider age group. It was like the comic books but brought to tv animation. Its a shame that a few final episodes of the last season started to lose its sophistication and eventually tv execs sort to cater for a younger audience who wanted ... Read More:

After watching Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas(which I thoroughly enjoyed),I decided to also buy it's sequel(being a lover of all things Christmas and Disney).
It was only when I bought it,I realised it was computer animated...
(This was also the first time the Disney characters were seen in 3D animation).
'Oh here we go'...I thought to myself.
I usually find that when Disney uses computer animation(apart from Pixar, which is obviously brilliant),it takes the charm out,so I really dreaded seeing how awful this was probably going to be.
But...I was pleasantly surprised!
I actually thought that the computer animation added to it's appeal and made Huey, Dewey and Louie look even cuter than ... Read More:

I watched this movie because I'm a huge Julie Andrews fan, the Princess Diaries books are a favourite guilty pleasure of mine (though I do think the joke has grown somewhat stale over the course of ten books) and although the first film wasn't brilliant, it was affable enough. This film, however, is a complete and utter waste of space. I can't believe it was actually a feature film that people paid money to see, the whole thing screams made-for-TV. Frankly, whoever wrote the script deserves to be shot, or at least banned from ever writing for the screen again.
The undisputed highlight is seeing Julie Andrews sing on screen again, but even that is ruined by making her duet with the hip hop star, which simply doesn't work. Anne Hathaway is ... Read More:

Bought this with fond childhood memories and wasn't disappointed. Admittedly this is not one of those DVD's you will be watching on a regular basis but is nice to be able to sit down on a cold evening after a hard days work and check to see how Tintin and Snowy are getting on.
Well worth buying as there are hours of viewing at a reasonable price and it will not hurt the kids to watch some classic programmes for a change and I'll guarantee they'll love this.

Well, how can you not enjoy this first offering of Harry Potter on the big screen?! Even if the hardcore HP fans knock it for not entirely sticking to the original storyline, introducing different character traits, or giving Harry size 10 feet (ok, made that bit up), there's no denying that this is still a very enjoyable film - no matter where your loyalties lie.
I'm a big fan of the books too, but once in a while it's good to see something you love brought to the big screen, inaccuracies and all. The one thing I think the films improve on over the books is the way Quidditch is brought to life - the soundtrack is also spot on in conveying all the mystery and enchantment of the books.
Thank you very much, the video is in good condtion, brand new, i always loved the first pokemon film. back then and even now , this is the best pokemon film, even now i still watch the first film, 10 of 10.

I saw this film at the cinema and on TV many times when it was first released and later. I have seen the remake too and it does not impress me. There is a lovely song sung by Hayley Milsl called "Let's Get Together". I am about to buy this DVD.

I absolutely love it. I am always fascinated by the level of detail in the models. The characters are magical and timeless. I think the Cosgrove Hall crew should get the Oscar, the Nobel prize, the whole works...
I waited so long for a DVD collection and now it's here. Three cheers for Fremantle! The packaging and menus are lovingly done and the price is very reasonable as well considering it is a 11 DVD set.
There should have been an episode listing but you can always make one up yourself.

For people who look back to remember with nostalgia the days of the classic fireman sam series this is the perfect remedy to missing the hero next door. The episodes are well preserved, and to be fair haven't dated too much - they were just as good as I remembered first time around. For Sam fans, or those wishing to introduce him to a new generation, this product is brilliant.
Beware the name of this set - though this claims to be the complete collection of all 32 classic episodes one key episode is absent, the 20 minute Christmas Special "Snow Business". I'm not really sure why this episode is excluded, as it makes the set feel incomplete.
Some purests will be disappointed that the opening credits are tinkered with to clean up the "Fireman Sam" freeze ... Read More:
