This was one of the most unimaginative, derivative and just plain boring films I've ever had to sit through. It tries to be a cross between a Dan Brown thriller and an Indiana Jones film and merely succeeds in reminding the viewer how superior those two genres are. The acting is terrible too. The new Indiana Jones film is 100 times better than this. Avoid!

I can't help feeling a bit ripped off having bought all of the DVDs in this set at more than twice the asking price when they first came out, but if you have a small child and don't already own them, this is a bargain.
If you do have a young relative chances are you already know about In the night garden. Iggle Piggle and his colourful but slightly odd friends appear in a series of twenty minute shows where they have minor adventures that often involve noises, counting , chasing things around and in Maka Paka's case tidying up. It's a brilliant way to teach young children some basic concepts about shapes, numbers etc especially if you buy a few of the books which follow the same storylines. The length of the show is exactly right for a toddler's ... Read More:

This DVD was worth the purchase for the Learn the Alphabet extra feature alone. This held the attention of my 3 year old and has the added bonus of being interactive. Simple for kids to navigate using arrow and OK buttons on your remote control.

I bought this DVD for my young son when he was two years old, with a degree of nostalgia in mind. I would not have anticipated quite what a hit it has been. The gentle, moral tales have captivated him to an amazing degree. We must have been watching these for a year now and he doesn't tire of them at all. The animation of the pictures is very simple but effective, the music is just wonderful. Unlike some other DVDs I've bought (Trumpton, Clangers) this one has lasted the test of time wonderfully - my only complaint is that the new Gladiator tale jars slightly image wise and leaves utterly unexplained how Mr Benn is supposed to know Basher in the first place!!

There are not enough words to express how much I truly adore this movie, it's legendary! I could watch this every day and still not get bored, I'm not even going to wait until I have kids to try and justify me buying it.

Although I am not the greatest Harry Potter fan in the world I have always enjoyed the film series and thankfully this film continues this trend. The Order of the Phoenix sees the dark lord Voldemort gathering his forces but with the Ministry of Magic refusing to acknowledge his return Harry and his friends must defy the Ministry in order to prepare for the coming war. Complicating matters is Ms Umbridge, the Ministry appointed Defence from the Dark Arts teacher, who is willing to do anything for the Ministry of Magic.
I haven't read any of the Potter books as yet and as such I cannot comment about how closely this film sticks to the book and I have heard mixed reports on the subject. Nevertheless I do feel that the film fits in very will with the ... Read More:

Jack Black voices Po, a lazy, overweight Panda who idolises the Furious Five kung fu champions: Tigress (Angelina Jolie), Mantis (Seth Rogen), Crane (David Cross), Viper (Lucy Liu) and Monkey (Jackie Chan). However, when Po gatecrashes an initiation ceremony, he is accidentally chosen to be the mythical Dragon Warrior, who is destined to save his valley from the villainous leopard Tai Lung (Ian McShane).
The Furious Five are mortified that Po has gatecrashed their ranks, but Master Oogway (Randall Duk Kim) tells them that there are no accidents and this is indeed Po's ... Read More:

This is feel-good viewing at its best - a charming, modern fairytale with Christina Ricci expertly leading a very strong cast as Penelope, the girl born with the face of a pig thanks to an age-old family curse. She is supported by a host of familiar faces, including Reese Witherspoon in a brief but memorable appearance as Penelope's new-found friend. James McAvoy plays Penelope's would-be suitor, and is perfectly cast as the loveable rogue.
With themes of rejection and self-acceptance at its core, the film has a really wide appeal. Far-fetched but relevant, it makes for a really fun, warm hour and half of viewing.
