It's nice DVD with 3 nice stories, but they are NEW!!! I was expecting the classic old cartoons, and was quite disappointed when I saw there were none in this DVD.
If you are up to new exciting stories, this is a DVD for you, but if you are looking for the old classics, then look for something else!

In addition to all the positive things about this DVD I would just also like to mention two drawbacks: 1.) If you don't like the Walt Disney singing parades, this is a no for I'm afraid it contains quite a few 2.) The stories do NOT come to a natural and obvious end but rather one leads on to the other so you do have the debate as to whether the child may not watch a little more ...and just another little more ...

me and my sister went to see this in cinemas and i certainly enjoyed watching it.the simpsons have gotten better over the years with all their episodes and treehouse of horror shorts and this is the biggest hit of all.i laughed hard at some parts and it was a genius film.the graphics were good, the acting was superb and it featured some action in it.as a fan of the simpsons i am glad i saw this.
its a great animated movie and adventure and its popularity has impressed too.futurama may be good but the problem is it dos,ent have futurama the movie in cinemas.the reason i gave this a five star rating is because of all the simpsons charecters and the great scene where it shows itchy and scratchy.i dont understand why some people have rated it 2,3 or 1 star.simpsons ... I would like to recommend, Goodnight Mister Tom because it's a very emotional story.
When I watched the DVD it was a thoroughly enjoyable and a good range of specialist language.
Based on the World War 2 time.
The charters are Tom, Willie, Zach, Sammy the dog, Mum and mrshartridge. Willie meets a boy called Zach but sadly Zach died because a Germans bomb. Willie's mum died because she drowned her, she was a mental women.
This DVD made you feel that you were there. Mister Tom helps Willie by buying him a book and pen. Willie was getting hit by his mum, for doing absolutely nothing.
My best part of the DVD was when Willie learned to ride a bike.
Disappointing. I expected quite a lot of detail about life in Iran and the oppressions forced upon the people following the deposition of the Shah in the late 70's. What followed was really just the most cursory glance at the changing culture, before the 'heroine' Marjane hastily departed for Europe. The subsequent university years were much more about growing up and self-discovery, and told me next to nothing about the impact of the establishment of the islamic republic back home. A watchable film - but not really Oscar material, in my opinion.

Matilda was originally written as a children¡¦s novel by Roald Dahl (tales of the unexpected) in 1988. His wry wit and humour certainly makes the book an enjoyable read and this humour still shows in Danny DeVito¡¦s movie version of the novel with a contrast of both American and English actors.
The film is about a young girl called Matilda played wonderfully by Mara Wilson (Miss Doubtfire). Though at the time, Wilson was fairly new to the acting scene; her acting skills still comes across as charming.
Another great actor in the film is the director, Danny DeVito (Mars Attacks), who also plays both the narrator and Matilda¡¦s father. DeVito is both clever and witty throughout the film and is ... Read More:
