This film appeals on so many levels - it's a farce, a sophisticated comedy, a gangster movie, a musical - some classic lines and probably a good contender for the best last line ever. Please watch this, it's that good.

i've loved the Jonathan creek series right from the beginning, Alan Davies plays such a good part, along with Caroline Quentin, they go together like bread and butter, the banter between them is so amusing, never quite getting together, this box set was a very good investment as i will have hours and hours of my fave viewing for years to come. the story lines have all been good, and i love the explanations at the end of each programme.

'21' is a good film looking at a group of college students who engage in a card counting 'scam' in Vegas. Based on true events you can't help but be impressed by the skill involved and very quickly you are drawn in to the idea and how they go about it. The performances are all pretty solid and this film is also well directed. This is one of those films you don't have to think too hard for and can just sit back and enjoy the ride. It's not earth shaking, but nor does it try to be. It's just a good film with an interesting idea and enough twists and turns to keep you engaged for the duration. Worth a look.

This is a great series, from first frame to final credits.
I admit that I was completely taken into the glossy, glamorous, ultimately shallow world of the US legal system as depicted here - and I thoroughly enjoyed every moment. While I fully accept the comment that the show sometimes felt like an ongoing marketing campaign, on a perverse level, I actually felt that element added to its enjoyment. Moreover, neither the show nor the actors involved, ever appeared to take any of it too seriously. As for the Rainbow comparisons, I actually thought Rose Byrne was pretty good as the clever but extremely naive, rather pompous young lawyer, who makes the mistake of believing in her abilities just a little too much. After the end of Season 1, I found the first two episodes of Season 2 to be a bit boring, but by the third episode it kicks off really well. If you havent seen it you are in for a treat, without giving anything away, I thought that the best episodes were "the other 48 days" and "Dave". Can't wait to see what season 3 will be like :)

This is my favourite tv program ever and i wouldn't argue with someone who said this was the best season either.
Utterly brilliant, the concept of the show is genius and this series has in my opinion the greatest twist in the history of motion picture. 2pm and 11pm are my favourite hours. >>More Details |
