Beautiful, sensual, violent on the senses and serious. Additive, riveting and gorgeous. If you want a real period drama, this really is it. The acting is superb, the camera work beautiful and the scene when Richard Armitage stands at the window and says 'look back at me...' oh my. Viewers you are in for a real delight. A first class production. You will want to watch this all in one sitting!

I received this product this morning (I was expecting to receive it in two days' time, so that's a good start!)
I haven't opened it as of yet, but this is just a 'first impression' description for those of you who are curious.
The collection comes in an A4-sized package, about the size of an A4 book, for example, which suprised me - I was expecting a regular-sized boxset - like most other boxsets - with about 8-10 individual 'sections', each containing a disc. I am wrong. It contains 10 discs featuring every episode from every series of Red Dwarf. As mentioned, I have yet to open the boxset, but from the size and shape of it, I can only assume that the discs are all layed flat and possibly 'overlapping' one another slightly, ... Read More:

Just bought this for my daugter and its a superb buy. its easy to forget how good these classic musicals are. this perticular edition is great becasue it includes the Dance and singalong versions of the song. you are shown through all the moves for perticular songs and then can dance to them like a pro well maybe not. Only negative and its a really small point as this is fantastic value is there are only 3 dance along songs would have been great with more. still 5* though!

Another great Barbie film and addition to the collection, the songs were quite poppy and very catchy and as usual there is a clear moral to the story. My daughter loved it and can't wait for Christmas Carol to come out!

Watched most of this on C4. I'm not a BB fan. In fact as soon as the BB house came on i found myself wanting to turn over. I stuck it out for the zombie stuff but that was just as bad as the BB stuff. Lame characters, poor effects + BB. Not a good recipe for a horror program.
This was going to be the bit where I go on a rant about how bad Dead Set is but I just cant be bothred.
Basically if your an fan of films like Dawn of the dead (both remake and original)or have to watch anything by Romero and if you class yourself as a true horror fan or hate BB then Dead Sets not for you.
Loads of bad zombie stuff out there and this just adds to the collection.
I'd rather be a zombie than a BB contestant. That said there's probably ... Read More:

Firstly, this boxed set comprises the three movies individually cased in standard blu ray cases in a slightly sturdy cardboard sleeve with a nice metallic green effect. That may come as a relief to owners of other boxed DVD sets etc where the cardboard lasts as long as cereal packets. All three movies are presented in letterbox widescreen transfers. Languages present are English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portugese , with Dutch only as subtitles. There is no region B coding marked on either the sleeve or individual cases so they are probably region-free.
The only other thing you really need to know about this trilogy release is that the HD picture and audio transfers are just fantastic. The Matrix has been remastered and is now of equal transfer quality to the sequels. ... Read More:

I LOVE the Disk World series and was very much looking forward to this film. It's a great adaptation of the first two books AND there's an interview with Terry at the beginning, which is almost worth the price of the dvd on its own. The man is seriously funny.
I know that Terry endorsed the choice of David Jason as Rincewind, but I'm sorry, he's just not Rincewind. He gave it his best shot, and David is a national treasure and a great actor - but he just wasn't the best man for the job in this case.
Sean Astin did his best as Twoflower, the Tourist.
The Luggage was excellent, but didn't feature as much as I would have liked.
It was great to see Tim Curry brought out of seclusion to play Trymon, the baddie and all the other wizards were suitably kooky as well.
