Visit the quirky and cozy dreamworld town of Stars Hollow and you'll feel right at home. I haven't enjoyed a show with such quirky characters since Northern Exposure. The language is fast, funny, intelligent and dizzy but it works. It should have been alot more popular over here and probably would have if it aired in the evening but it feels right it airs during the day for some reason.

As the title says, what more could you ask for, the full complete 24 seasons 1-6 in it's entirety, every episode is packed with explosive action and interesting facts, Life for CTU Agent Jack Bauer is never dull, and hold on tight for the ride of your life, I couldn't of asked for a better Boxset collection, I also love the casing it came in, plus the individual casings for the CD's, I dunno why so many people are complaining about it, Overall if you are a fan of the 24 series then this is a must!, for just over £100 its a bargin considering you'd probably pay double that and more for buying it in a shop, only let down wish there was more features, maybe a full length featurette and outtakes, but overall I am so glad I bought this, it will forever be in my ... Immediately after watching the film premiere on the BBC back in March 2008, I knew that this would be a film for keeps and I've been waiting for the DVD release so that I can watch the film again. It's brilliant.
The film was released as the first in a series to be continued by the BBC, with the filming for the remainder of the episodes due to begin in the summer ('08). It was so sad to hear of director Anthony Minghella's death just a few days before the film was first shown on the BBC. The film is a fitting last testament to his brilliant career and I hope that they can pull off the rest of the episodes as well as this one, without Minghella's direction.
Minghella and the cast really bring to life Alexander McCall Smith's rich and ... Read More:

Another corking series of Benidorm.
I found this to be even funnier than series one.Fair play to the writers and cast, they have done a fantastic job in entertaining the life out of me once again.
Highlights for me was the bull fighting dog, Madge and Mel on 'Doggers' beach and not knowing about it and then being collared by Jacqueline and Donald 'oh yes' with their camcorder and of course Mel singing'Hey there lonley girl'in a high pitched voice.I will also never look at beef Medalions in the same light again after Madge called them Beef curtains by mistake.
I can't help thinking the cast and crew had a bigger laugh making this than we do watching it though.
I urge,no beg ITV to make series 3 [please god there is a series 3]into 12 hour ... Read More:

This is an entertaining movie with behind the scenes features and would have been better off without adding that there is a 3D part to it when there isnt. I bought this DVD hoping to get a good movie and a real 3D experience, but the 3D is really poor and is definatley not worth wearing those plastic "3D" glasses for about an hour and a half. Reccomended if you are a huge fan of HM and MC though!

Where do I start with this complete mess of a film? Hmmm, well I suppose the first thing to mention is that this is not a Transformers film, at least not at all related to the original cartoon upon which it is meant to be based. Even if you forget that (the writers, producers and director clearly did) the film spends so much time away from the Transformers that it could be a sequel to Independence Day! Why do we need to see douche bag hackers and military personnel scratching their heads over computer screens? This stuff has been done before loads of times, and far better than this. Then we have boring scenes with goofball US soldiers talking about home, etc, all of which carries no plot or even the most simple character based story arc. I've heard that Spielberg ... Read More:

I thought this new BBC dvd was quite good - until near the end when Tess
and Angel are hiding in the empty mansion and we are suddenly confronted
with and orgy of nudity and sex. I think the BBC have lost the plot.
Thomas Hardy's text certainly does not call for such an exhibition.
I think the older versions available have more integrity and artistic
merit.

This was one of my favourite disney films when I was little and when I saw it on DVD fully restored with pristine picture quality I had to buy it. This may not be on the same terms as Lion King, Bambi, Little Mermaid and other disney classics we all know, in terms of popularity but this film has its own charm to it and is just as good as the others, with its sense of imagination, humour and positive messaging. This is a great film in its own right and for any disney fan or someone looking for a good family film it should be in your DVD collection.

This film has a lot of potential, but fell flat on its face. The cinematography was lovely, but the majority of the characters were shallow and superficial. The character of Vera should have been complex, and it needed a much more experienced and more talented actress to give her justice. Keira Knightley doesn't act, she just says her lines with a silly smirk on her face, giving the audience no insight whatsoever into what she's thinking and feeling, and just left me feeling lost and confused and feeling no sympathy towards her character at all. Dylan Thomas was portrayed to be a horrible and self-centred man and I couldn't understand why both Vera and Caitlin were all over him, while William Killick, the only decent and believable character in the whole film, was used and generally treated ...
