For the original series of James Bond films, Sean Connery defined the part quite effectively. Since Connery other actors such as George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton, Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan have attempted to portray this persona with the same elan with varying degrees of success. In my opinion none have measured up to Connery in the qualities of an international British agent with unsurpassed physical skills, sophistication and attraction for women. None until now. Daniel Craig makes one heck of a Bond! He fits this role equally well. Thus this movie is quite successful. The locations-Italy, Montenegro, the Bahamas- are fantastic with wonderful photography. I am a fan of the TV show, seen them all, so when I saw this in the sale had to give it a try. Some of the stuff in this is so outrageous that I am a little suprised it made it on DVD, but I am glad it did. Some of the stuff on this had me crying with laughter. A must purchase (unless you are easily offended!)

Ive read the other reviews on Amazon, and a lot of what is said I completely agree with. The DVD itself is too short, the running time misleading (though the 16 minutes of unseen burp are really good), and a LOT of Burp Gold has been missed out.
HOWEVER! I am just very grateful to see this DVD released at all. Any fan of Burp will know that we have always been told there would never be an official release due to the sheer expense and copyright issues (a la the criminally un-released 'malcolm in the middle'). So it gives me great pleasure that we have been graced with an official release. I wont spoil it by giving away the highlights, but, suffice to say, the whole 'ear cataracts' is here! A gem of a DVD. Loved it and you will too if you take it as it comes!! Nothing serious about it, very well acted, and naturally the hottest british actor of the moment is excellent in it! The best thing about this is the american british clash and love hate relationship!! As many british sterotypes as there are american ones!

I thought Season One and Two were fantastic, and the mystery and lacks of answers was enthralling. However, I felt that Season Three started to go astray, and it just seemed to keep creating crazy questions just to keep us on the edge of our seats. If you felt that about Season Three, then you will continue to be frustrated with this season. Instead of flash-backs, we now have flash-fowards, which seem great, but through the progression of the season, the situation on the island becomes more and more ludicrous. The climax of the season is just completely awful, and proof that all the greatness is Lost (pun intended).

I recently watched this film and I was really impressed by it!
I've seen so many bad reviews about this film and I had doubts about buying it but I did and I'm so glad now! People have been complaining about the ending on this film. I think it's great, although nothing much happens. There's so many films that end with a massive exploding finale but this one was pretty calm.
