I have adored this film since I was a young teenager and having just watched it again, I enjoyed it even more. The combination of Deneuve, Bowie, Sarandon and Bauhaus results in an effortlessly charismatic and other-worldly atmosphere, but just as importantly as the horror story it tells, I think this film beautifully brings the 1980s back to life.
Beautiful and odd, perfect in spite of its faults, this is a hugely enjoyable film.

Firstly I want ot say that this is a good movie! The leads & supporting roles are likable. The story flows mostly very nicely.
What really annoyed me was the fact that whenever the two leads are at their sparkling best, the camera fades to black.CUT! Next day. No idea what happened. Generally not a bad idea to leave some things up to the viewers imagination, but well... not everything.
If you want a family friendly movie to watch with your parents before your coming out talk then go for it!
Otherwise, don't expect too much sweet lurve...

The story's been done before, the script isn't the best and the main character's english accent isn't either. Compared to other mainstream films it isn't anything special. For an LGBT film it's great. Let's admit it... lesbian films are generally pretty poor so compared to them, this one is excellent! Perfect for a night in with that special someone :o)

I really wanted to like this series, really I did. I had been a moderate fan of the first series and was eager to see where they would take the second series, especially as it's twice the length. The first episode was amazing, we finally see the Nephilim and get introduced to a new dark warrior in Ella. However after that it all goes a bit pear shaped. We lose the 2 main characters from the first series (Cassie:after episode 2 and Azazael:a third of the way through) and the series just never recovers. Ella actually reveals herself to be an incredibly weak character, in every episode she is either poisoned, stabbed, cursed, seduced... The characters are incredibly unrealistic. The 'love' plot between Malachi and Ella just plain annoying, and the limited acting abilities of Leon didn't ... Read More:

Although this comes from the same studio that released huge lesbian hit Loving Annabelle, Love Sick is a different proposition altogether. The affecting and beautiful drama follows the intense relationship between two young women which is threatened by an incestuous tryst between one of the lovers and her jealous and possessive brother. The nuanced performances given by the two leads are simply fantastic - both delivering naturalistic turns that really make us care about the characters and believe in the almost innocent relationship that develops quietly over the course of the film. This is a really beautiful movie that manages to tackle controversial issues without the sensationalist Hollywood treatment.

Hi there! I'm so happy to have listened to the advice of others buying Hex 1 & 2, because they were absolutely amazing! Besides all, I've also watched "Buffy the vampire slayer" in the prevoius years, but I don't agree with the general feeling of this has to be a masterpiece of television: first of all, because it isn't scary at all for me,the monsters are ridiculous, the story lacks in a lot of passages too and it isn't an original idea, plus where all the suspance was gone?!..It even looked like a Scooby-Doo film in some points..
And ok, as good as could have been the main actress,or handsome the male actor of Angel, the spin off too, isn't at the top of my favourite list (for example, in the past, there was "American Gothic" that in my opinion was better, at least more scary)...However ... Read More:
