As a family we are big fans of the 'who wants to be a millionare' series of interactive dvd's,and this version in particular is a big hit in our household.
The adult and junior versions have resulted in more fun for the youngsters and now this version gives you the option of choosing the style of questioning also, allowing you to choose general knowledge, sport or entertainment.
I still say the 'who wants to be a millionare' dvd's are the best interactive games out there and every Christmas it never fails to make an appearance
No setting up required,no big boxes to put away, and educational to boot, what more do you want?

I am going to assume that you have watched, and liked, "Strike it Lucky" or "Strike it Rich" from the 1980s and 1990s, and want to play the game as per the TV version.
I'm going to go on at some length. Basically, if you like "Strike it Lucky", you will like this version of the game, especially the multi-player version. However, it is not without its own problems.
The first round involves you going across 8 screens, some of which had prizes in the TV version, and some of which had "Hot Spot"s. Then, you had to answer a question correctly.
The second round involves going across 10 screens, and missing 2-4 Hot Spots, and winning (if you succeed) £1,000-£2,000, or later £2,000-£4,000.
Really enjoyed this, especially My Arse Bingo. If you play Bingo or not, this is really good for any one to play, family friends anything.

I have played a lot of these so called DVD games in the past and i was very annoyed by the lag and/or poor production values. So tentiveley i rented Red dwarf beat the geek as i didn't want to splash out. Apprenhensively i loaded it in my dvd player. The first thing that hits me is the production values. Being my favourite tv show i still didn't think they could of made a playable dvd, but this is it. The loading times are next to nill the range of questions for both red dwarf fan red dwarf geek and general knowledge are even, and its a genuine delite to play. The only criticism is the comments from the holly's get a bit repetitive after a few plays through however only so much can be recorded definitley one for all fans of the red dwarf and one for you non fans as ... I liked this game a lot and had no problems playing the easy level. I liked that all the questions are voiced so you don't have to strain your eyes the whole time.

A fun quiz, which brought back lots of memories - but a word of warning.
The questions are in different categories, and one of them is titled ''True or Cr*p''. This is OK if you are playing with people who remember the Eighties, but our 6 and 4 year old kids were participating when we first played it, and now they have added a new word to their vocabulary!

Yvette Fieldings latest spin of from MH is this interactive game.
Quite enjoyable and entertaining including clips from MH and as an extra a brief interview with the fabulous Yvette.
There's life in the most haunted franchise still :)

After playing other sports quiz's last year & finding them all very similar & not that exciting I wasn't going to bother with another one this year.
I was recommended this one & I'm really glad I gave it a go. Mixed in with the quiz are some hilarious clips from the radio shows. I don't listen to Talksport so wasn't sure which clips came from what shows, but that doesn't matter they're just really funny. The game plays well & there's enough to keep you entertained. If you have kids & you struggle to get them to play sports quiz's normally then this is also the one for you. They'll love it just waiting for the next comedy clips. Recommended
This was the first time I'd tried an interactive DVD game and I have to say that I was very impressed! Good, challenging questions for children and adults and it really seemed like you were in the hot seat on the TV with Chris giving a great performance as always. I thought the lifelines were good as they often gave a helping hand but didn't always automatically guarantee you the right answer. I had great fun with the family over Christmas playing this.
