Excellent release and great value, even including the four songs changed on the the setlist for leg 2 and a missing song from the R30 shows in 2004. Cracking sound and vision.

I'm married but when we went to see Pink live in Nottingham me and my female friend both walked out and said she could "take" us down the other path if you get my drift (& not married herself).
She is an amazing show woman, she's sexy, daring, has an exquisite voice!!! Need I go on!! I've seen the Try This and I'm Not Dead tours live and she just keeps getting better!!! I've only just bought this and the Try This dvd (Jan 08) but I can't wait to watch them!!!! Enjoy!! >>More Details |

Great shows, some say the best of the tour.
But the audio was mastered by a VIP (very incompetent person) and sounds "too loud", compressed and lacks detail and dynamics. Volume stays the same all along the concert...sad >>More Details |

I've always considered the version of Won't Get Fooled Again on The Kids Are Alright as the most exciting and definitive version, and now we can see the whole concert where it was recorded. It's a good show, not one of their best, but pretty good. Sure Roger forgets his words and Pete has a rant at the audience, but that just underlines the fact that these are four west-London lads doing their stuff. Looking back, considering this was Moonie's last but one performance, it is quite poignant and almost prophetic when he says between tracks that he is going to the dressing room to overdose.
The other concert, at the Coliseum, is pure late 60's Who at their finest. The quality of the film isn't great, but it's almost forty years old ... Read More: >>More Details |

A lot stupid, a little boring, mostly bizare... ok, sometimes you buy a film that is bad - however, I am more disappointed in wasting the time watching it. I kept thinking there must be something interesting or it would have to get better....NOT.

This is a pretty good live DVD. The director (Richard Ayoade - star of The IT Crowd) has clearly tried to create a concert film rather than just a live recording. Almost the whole of the show is shot in close up and mid shot. This is great in some ways as you get to see the performance in real detail, the blood sweat and tears of Matt Helders on drums and the cheeky facial expressions of Alex Turner. I think some longer shots, crowd shots for example would have given the film more atmosphere, it almost feels like they are performing to an empty room. Plus it would have been great to see more of the lighting effects for example which are normally pretty good at Arctic Monkeys gigs.
