In what is a fantastic series all the way through, season 5 is in my opinion a stand out season. The Dominion story arc really kicks off, and the final episode is one of the best of the whole run. 5/5 easy.

For me, the movie itself is a nineties' classic: action, adventure and humour blended together seamlessly to provide a thoroughly enjoyable (if untaxing) two hour break from reality.
Unfortunately, this DVD release is WOEFUL. I could forgive the complete lack of extras (not even a trailer or production notes) but the picture looks like a poor transfer from VHS: it may be anamorphic, but it suffers from clear macro-blocking, colour shifts, artifacing and wholly excessive grain from the opening Warner Bros logo to the end credits. The entire disc takes up less than 3.5gb: given the complete lack of additional material, I find it perplexing that Warner Bros didn't at least use up the remaining free space to give the video a much-needed ... Special effects should be convincing, even when this was made, but relying on an upside down turned car and mashed tatties and dodgy miniatures spoils the story. As if aliens are going to travel all this way after kidnapping pilots and sailors just to have a jam session on top of a mountain with a hippy scientist and his organ. Like Jean Michel Jarre and ET having a duet. Its silly. Aliens also are supposed to be green and not like the ones here. Aliens are hardly going to visit us if this is what we think of them. Unless they are the For Mash Get Smash aliens which is where the mashed potato could actually mean something.

Some people have tried to dismiss `Farscape' as an Australian `Blake's Seven' or `Buck Rogers.' But although it didn't have a unifying message like `Deep Space 9' or `Babylon 5,' it was still one of the most consistently excellent science fiction series ever made.
The acting was incredible, the scripts were just as good, and the `Jim Henson' Company's special effects were always spectacular and integral to the story.
OK the FX of Tron are nothing to todays. But this film shows the level of CGI in 1982 the extra features illustrate how the FX are achieved and what a struggle this film was. Also the extra features tell the story of Tron from its earliest incarnations to the finished film. The film itself is not only a great story but it shows the level of computing at the time. Tron is in fact an Antivirus in a world before antivirus programs were even thought of.

This is a superb movie, and to have it in blu-ray enhances the experience by a mile! You can 100% see the difference in quality, (same quality as i am legend and casino royale etc). I thought that this movie would have slightly less quality because it was filmed earlier than others, but no! Absolutely the same superb quality from blu-ray. Loving in! One to buy!

This film is not at all, the acting is realistic and Will smith portrays the best character he has, for some time now, but the ending of the movie isnt at all great, and like others before me, yes the alternative ending is much better then the original.
Well anyway, i believe the purpose of all blu-ray reviews is not to yap on about the movie but about the delicious transfer to HD.
Picture: the picture is very good and sharp at most moments, the colors are spectacular and the contrast is also very fine. 9/10
Audio: The sound is very nice, clear, and very good quality probably the best audio quality blu - ray i have 10/10
Overall (including the transfer and the film and acting, etc): 8/10

Each season has been an improvement on the last and Season 4 is certainly no exception. If you need one reason to watch Season 4 let it be 'The Way of The Warrior' which is in my opinion by far the best DS9 Episode up to that point, and it's a double-episode! Worf makes a return, Klingons turn their back on the Federation and DS9 faces its first battle. Not be missed.

... and one that far too many people haven't heard of. I believe that this was conventionally animated, when CGI was taking an increasing share of the market. Perhaps because it didn't have the high-definition quality of the Pixar films (think Nemo) Disney never seemed to do much to promote it.
However, what it lacked in that area is more than made up for in outstandingly funny script and characterisation - the old-school values of animation. "I've turned into a cow. Can I be excused?" Yeah, the tale is a little hackneyed - an odd couple who need to learn to get along to overcome their enemy - but it is just sooooo funny.
I have never been fussed about the "modern classics" like "Beauty and the Beast" or even "The Little Mermaid". But this one is brilliant.
