I use these for high power flash guns, portable DAB radio, digitial recording devices and anything that requires batteries to be virtually new for the equipment to work at it's best. The 'life' of the battery is not as good as a top one off the shelf but the re-charge speed is fast (an hour max) and the economics speak for itself. The only down-sides are the charger is pretty bulky if travelling, slower to charge on lower voltage through an adaptor(that is to be expected)and when not used they discharge quicker than normal. Have a few spare sets available to always keep going otherwise there is the hour wait.

I have only recently started playing the guitar, but have been playing other intruments for a good few years. I am pretty hopeless in trying to tune my guitar by ear, so this little tool is perfect. Plus its a two-in-one if you have a bass guitar as well.
I am not sure what the 1-star review for this product is about, I can only think that their unit was faulty or something. After tuning my guitar, all the strings ring beautifully and I repeat it every few days. A good investment for guitar player experienced or beginner. I would recommend you reading your the instruction manual if you are new the the guitar or not sure about notes/tuning in general. Its helpful if you know which string should be what note before tuning. >>More Details |

I have been using this model now for seven months,and apart from only getting about fifteen channels, when I thought I would get dozens as it's digital I am still quite pleased with it.But what really made me sit down and write this review is that I had to send it back today as it started playing up which does happen, (but you do get a two year warranty).Unfortunately you have to send it back to pure at your expense which is not cheap as you need to insure it as well for peace of mind. If you buy it from amazon like I did they will only exchange it within six months after which you will have to send it back to pure. Bear that in mind if you are buying one (it's a lot easier taking it back to a local store) under pures two year warranty.

Bought this for our 5 year old for Christmas as a cheaper version broke after a few weeks last year. She loves it. Sound is great for a toy guitar. We have a rock chick in the making!

Purchased this through ACS Media on Amazon.co.uk Marketplace and item arrived swiftly and in perfect condition.
I'm not that technically competent so a brief teething trouble (I had to disconnect my webcam to allow the turntable to be heard) was swiftly resolved with a quick call to the Ion tech helpdesk (although they're only open during office hours) who were excellent. The software takes less than 30 seconds to install and is extremely simple to use. I've not had the need to try the advanced software as yet, but played back through iTunes it sounds great to me. There are also leads to attach the turntable to your stereo so can use as a separate also for playing old vinyl records via an existing sound system. ... Read More: >>More Details |

First off, I'm a guitarist. I've been playing 10 years - live, recording, teaching and teching.
I got this on whim. Its the kind of gadget you see that has a nice premise but you dont expect it to pan out - such things normally have some un-anticipated horrible flaw/s that relegate them to a drawer, back of the tool cupboard, shoebox or even the bin. But now and then I like to give new toys that have a different slant on old things (or are totally new things) a shot. This has performed far beyond my expectations.
