I was a little disappointed that the leads were grey and not white, but i'm not all that fussy. The leads are strong and very durable, i get a brilliant, fast connection, and i was up and running in minutes!

Absolutely brilliant! Having spent many an hour trying to get other network products to work in the past, this was like falling off a log.
1) Plug 'em in to a wall socket (or in my case an extension socket - not necessarily recommended by the manufacturer for optimum performance, but it worked absolutely fine for me). The LEDs on each unit showed that they were networked up and ready to go in about 1-2 seconds!
2) Attach the supplied network leads (nice touch)at each end and hey presto, that's it.
3) If you want to, you can install the supllied software, but you really don't have to. I did just to see what transfer rates mine was achieving on the aforementioned extension lead. Answer - between 60 and 85 ... Read More:

This cable is great for use with a PS3 allowing a fast online gaming experience. I had my doubts considering the price but it was just fine, i've had it for about a month now and it has been a joy to use. I found it made a huge difference after using a jumpy and unreliable wireless connection. A Great cheap buy with fast delivery too. Recommended.

I was in two minds whether to get these, as they aren't a major brand. However, I was so glad I did as they are fantastic. I wanted to use them to link an XBOX360 to a Vista Media Center, to stream live TV, music, videos & DVDs.
Setting them up really was as simple as plugging them into the wall and plugging the supplied network cable into the XBOX & Media Center. I installed the software and was amazed to see I was getting 175mbps between the two devices!
A word of warning though - don't plug them in to adapters/power strips, the throughput goes down dramatically.
I would definitely recommend these to anybody looking to link two devices together without having the hassle of wireless, or trying to ... Read More:

Printers, PCs and a WAP were beginning to outnumber the ports on my router, so I bought a Netgear GS605 to extend the network. It couldn't be easier to setup and install. It was a matter of taking everything out of the box and plugging in the power supply, the link to the router and the network cables to the devices. That's it - no setup disk or passwords, no IP or MAC Addresses to be entered - it does all the mapping itself.
And like Jet Set Willy, I went and bought another a few days later to sort out my son's collection of Printers, PCs and a WAP.

Bought this as a stopgap for my son's computer which he inherited when I upgraded. It really is as simple as plug in, install from mini cd and off you go. It works perfectly on our home network connected to a homeplug. I can recommend it without hesitation. The marvellous thing is it actually works which makes a change for these sort of gizmos.

I was previously using a cheap cable to connect my PC to my hi-fi, and struggled hugely with interference and dodgy connections. I eventually replaced the cable and it immediately eliminated all the problems. These cables are high quality. Definitely worth a few pounds more than the cheapest cable.

Bought this on the recommendation that this device works with a Wii, and it does so fine. You do need an Ethernet patch cable but they are cheap enough to buy separately on Amazon.
