Belkin Pro Series VGA Monitor Replacement Cable 5m
I've tried two of these and they're awfull!!!
There is so much ghosting that text is unreadable. If this is the pro series then I'd hate to see the budget version!
Belkin seem to be very hit and miss with their products and I'd suggest using a piece of wet string rather than using this one.

Given that these surge protectors are available at nominal cost and will protect your potentially valuable electronic equipment in the event of a power spike, these items are an obvious purchase for every household. There's not really a lot more to say, except that the build quality of the power strip seems to be high. My only issue I have found is that I sometimes have difficulty persuading my PC to boot when it is powered via the surgemaster. The problem seems to be the initial high power drawer of my NVIDIA 8800 GT graphics card. Therefore I sometimes have problems persuading my PC to boot, but since I don't reboot very often it is not really much of an issue. It was puzzling for a while though, so bear this in mind if your PC has a high ... Read More:

My desktop's headphone slot was in such an awkward place, it meant that I was not able to watch video's on it comfortably with headphones on as I had to stretch my neck in order to avoid the headphones coming off. Therefore I had a look on Amazon and found this bad boy. Now I can watch videos and listen to music with headphones easily and comfortably.

I ordered this via Addonsworld and it arrived within 3-4 days. It is a Microfilter with a tail and sockets for both a telephone cable and modem; the one I recieved was branded as made by BT which I have used to plug my phone into. As a broadband virgin I have little experience of what to expect from this product but three weeks in it seems to work fine and there is no extra noise on my telephone line. I purchased it to use with a Netgear DG834G 54Mbps Wireless ADSL2+ Modem Firewall Router with 4-port 10/100 switch; this came with its own microfilter in the box and so far I have had no connection or service problems (broadband via Plusnet).

The male jack of this cable doesn't fit tightly with the female port on my Logitech Z5500 speakers. I am not sure if it is the fault of the cable or the speaker. Anyway, it doesn't cause any problem, as I can insert a small piece of paper between them to tighten the plugging. Apart from this issue, the cable is working perfectly!

The review saying single link is the same as double link, is Rubbish.
I have a have a double link DVI cable, and it is not compatible with my monitor, because there are extra pins on the cable for which there are no holes in the monitor's socket. It's not this cable obviously, and it may not be a problem, since I'm not intending to use it on the monitor.
I know nothing about this particular single link cable, but beware that if you need single link, double link might not do.

I purchased this cable purely because of its length. Seeing as it was Belkin, a reputable name, combined with the fact it was labelled 'Gold Series' meant I didn't hesitate in buying this item. However, you should.
Even through a Nvidia 8800 GT the cable produced horrible ghosting on the screen. However, when I replaced the cable for another, the ghosting disappeared. Therefore the cable is of inferior quality and defiantly not worthy of a 'Gold Series'.
Spend just a few Pounds more a buy a quality cable to save yourself having to buy another.

I have had a couple of Belkin units, including this one, fail to protect my equipment. Once a PC just died one day, and I found burn marks on the motherboard PSU connector. The other time with this exact unit there was a lightning strike nearby, and the computer PSU was fried along with my monitor and HiFi amplifier.
Both times I tried to claim from Belkin on their warranty. They make it very hard, and you have to send them the damaged equipment. In both cases they at first refused to pay up, but eventually I got some compensation out of them. Nothing like the value of the items though, only their "second hand" value which for Belkin means car boot sale prices.
I now have a Tripp-Lite and touch wood have no had any problems.
