Did not enjoy this product at all, it has given me no-end of problems, Drivers etc. Dont Buy Netgear, Belkin is much better, Buy Belkin G+.

Speaking without hyperbole, I think I can say that out of all the equipment I have bought throughout my life, from toasters to CD writers, this is without a doubt the WORST thing I have ever had the misfortune to waste my money on. With the computer in one room and the wireless router in just the next room, I have never had a signal strength stronger than "poor". My flatmates use different wireless cards and have no problems (just in case you think it's the router). As an experiment, I placed the wireless adapter right next to the router, as in four inches away, and it still couldn't find the network.

I wanted a vista compatible bluetooth dongle for my son's laptop so that he could pair it with his phone. It took about 5 minutes to set this up and pair it. It even found my phone which was in the room below - so no reception problems at all. I bought from Accessory Shop. Placed my order on Friday 2nd January and it arrived on Tuesday 6th January. Great service!

avoid this product at and retailer at all costs!
first off, i ordered this quite close to christmas but was promised delivery before my order that it would arrive before christmas... it didn't so someone was left presentless on christmas. i explained what happened and what it was and they were happy enough to wait. secondly when it arrived i tried to set it up, this in an impossibility as it does not work. i thought for the first hour of trying to set it up that i had done something wrong as when i tried to connect to the network it just could not pick it up, from any usb port. then i went to directly beside the hub and it still didnt pick the hub. after a few hours of trying to get the laptop onto the, or even see the network i started getting ... this adapter is superb! just plugged it in, computer installed it, and internet working in under 45 seconds!!!! i have Vista and i didn't need the installation CD it just installed automatically! internet and computer run mega fast! Buy it!

As apposed to previous reviews this USB wireless adapter does work, I was a little worried when I made the purchase cuz of the price (seemed far too cheap to be worth it) but I am glad I did, took a whole 5 minutes to setup, I plugged it in and wondows recognised the device, plonked the CD in and bosh, job was done.
Connected to my wireless and then proceeded to copy 5GB in just over an hour. For an item as cheap as this both speed and reception are excellent, we have a spare PC upstairs and it was just too far to run a cable, the dongle works fine. If you are like me and you don't require anything fancy and merely want to be able to connect up a new or old PC, seriously don't waste your money and just get one of these. >>More Details |

Read the previous reviews which said they had no problems when running Linux Ubuntu. Ordered the product and received it within 48 hours. Straight out of the packet, plugged it in and away it went. Running well, certainly up to the speed of the cable with no wires!

Quite simple you get it the box is humungus in size - thats where the rainforests went
:) Then you install the CD - away you go - i got to the stage of pulling my hair out with the - unsigned warning - for goodenss sake pay microsoft some money belkin LOL after all that you think its installed - well thats all you need right NO - you put your Blutoof dongle in and its recognise and itas all ready to use - so you right click the image and nuffing - eh - you search for your blu tooth folders and they dont work - whats going onnnnn - argh this is useless - after a mini nervous breakdown i put the disc back in - no mention that there is ANOTHER program you have to install - thats not in the instructions - why not grrrr and its not called like ...
