I have been using Epson printers for many years and since finding Amazon Epson Multipack it has saved quite a lot of money, I find this ink First Class. I have now bought the latest Kodak all in one printer which was quite expensive (£299) so I hope Amazon can help me save with this ink.

After using compatible cartridges in my old Epson C62 printer I am convinced that they contributed to it eventually clogging up. After purchasing my Canon Pixma 4500 I was determined to stick with the correct cartridges and was delighted when I was able to purchase a full set of cartridges from Free Ink Shop for £36.99 incuding P&P. This was cheap compared to nearly £60 for a pair of genuine cartridges for my old Epson. The results from my Canon are excellent.

Went to buy this item, needed a fair few as I go through a lot of ink. Had to decide against it as they tried to charge me more than the value of the items in postage and packaging, About £24. Not good if you ask me.

I have to say that I ordered this with the colour cartridge on 25th June and had super saver delivery so didn't cost any extra and they arrived today. I can't fault 3 days delivery for no postage cost. The ink works fine and I know that I'm still covered by warranty for using manufacturers goods. I use reviews a lot to decide on what and where to purchase and just wanted to relate my experience which has been first class.

I couldn't have been more impressed. Ordered Monday evening, delivered Wednesday morning and works perfectly (unlike some well known refills). Also 40% cheaper than some high street stores. Highly recommended.

Canon inks are great and this Canon PGI-5BK is no exception. I'm very very pleased with the results and can foresee myself sticking with Canon printers and their inks. I have regrettably tried a set of compatible inks in the past which produced disgraceful print quality, where the colours ran and mixed with each other on paper. They also made a mess of my printer around the area where the cartridges sit in place. I had gone too far with penny pinching, and quickly went back to the Cannon original inks. It took many and I mean many executions of my printer's self maintenance cleaning software to get it back to its 'as manufacturer intended' state, even after I had changed the ink back to Canon originals.

I purchased the multipack of inks and found the last one to be replaced was rejected by the printer with a message saying the cartridge was incompatible. When I contacted Epson customer services I was told they only have a 90 day warranty. I suggest buying them individually as if it takes more than 90 days to use them all you could be left with a useless cartridge and no means of replacement through Epson.

Well i think people are starting to realise that branded ink cartridges are too expensive, and offer the same quality as unbranded.
i myself have spent so much money on branded ink cartridges and now have found it to be much cheaper to buy unbranded ink cartridges. i buy from advantage-online.co.uk and i find their customer service to be fantastic and their price to be very competitive. im one of these guys who always complains about the level of customer service in the uk, people dont seem to care about their company and can't wait to have a fag break or goto the pub. In Sep'07 I bought a multi pack thro' Amazon which was supplied by seller ext360. These were supplied in a jiffy bag with no outer packaging. Subequently two cartridges would not be accepted by my printer and appeared to be slightly different in appearance from the empty cartridges. As I was outside the 90 day warranty period neither Amazon or Epson were interested in my problem.
My advice to anyone not receiving the correct TO487 packaging is to reject the order & inform Amazon immediately. >>More Details |
