I'd been wanting to replace my BT Diverse phone with something else, and I chose the Panasonic purely on the strength of the postive reviews here on Amazon. Thanks everyone, you were right, it's brilliant! Having had it for 48 hours, I'm really impressed with the simplicity of use and abundance of features. Set up was easy peasy. Once I'd entered all my contacts into one phone (there's room for a hundred), I just selected, 'Copy All' from the menu and they automatically copied over to the second phone. The display is clear, and caller ID (if you've subscribed to it), is very easy to read. I bought these less than a week ago from Amazon as a replacement for a BT quad set which I thought were losing performance. We live in a large house with three floors and the phones were losing reception in the kitchen at the back of the house.
The new phones are losing reception all over the place!! The manufacturers quote a range of 300 metres, but unfortunately houses have walls! I have spent hours setting up the phones and getting to know the functions, and I am very disappointed having to send them back and start again. very good phone and competivly priced.Ring tones could be better,but volume is acceptable for buisiness or home.stricking appearance with quality feel.Very good range on these phones.If you want a perfect cheaper phone then you wont go far wrong.Ive done all the homework for you as i did try the bt ones in this price range and to be honest for sound quality these cant be beat.

Purchased these as a replacement for an old BT cordless phone and have been very impressed. They look great, are easy to set up, easy to use and the clarity of the sound whilst on a call knocks spots of my old BT phone, everyone we call has commented on this. So overall, very happy!

I originally ordered another set of phones but they were out of stock and Ligo sent me these phones as an upgrade at no further cost!
1. Well done Ligo! Customer service like that these days is a rare occurrence I find. So no fears of giving you my custom in the future! 2. The phone delivery was very speedy too. 3. The choice of phones are great! My old phones used to buzz a lot when used in certain rooms around the house but these phones are crystal clear, easy to setup, use and look rather smart. Bought these to replace ailing IDECT phones. Very smart to look at and nice and thin so easy to hold whilst they are quite wide so easy to grip.
Reception very good. Fairly basic user interface but they are just phones after all. Especially like the way you can just copy all/one of the numbers from one phone to another automatically. Time,date on display and an alarm too. Childlock to keep those little tikes at bay. Downside is the text facility available. It must have taken me about 10mins to write a text that would normally take 1min lol. Dont think there is predictive text. Very good phones all in all. >>More Details |

This is quite a simple answering machine, but it suffers from being slow and occasionally it seems to get stuck and keep beeping even when you have listened to the new messages. On a cordless phone, you get terrible screeching speaker feedback over the top of your conversation if you approach within 3 metres of it. If you answer a call after the answering machine starts up, you have to wait for the recorded message to speak over the top of you before you can be heard by the caller. Worst of all on cordless phones, if the answering machine comes on, your private conversation is broadcast live by the answering machine's speaker and recorded for later playback. I suppose this machine would be alright for a corded telephone, but it does mean extra trailing wires ... Read More:

They look smart, are easy to use. Hands free is good, ring tones ok, some say funky, others a bit annoying, but there are 15 to choose from. A good feature is the phone book, which after entering all your numbers, you can then send all these to the other 3 phone units in seconds, so no re-typing of the details as was the case with my old cordless phone.
