I installed mine yesterday, and positioned the arial where shown on the instructions. I then removed the trim and ran the cable out of sight before tucking it neatly behind my dashboard along to the unit. Would it pick up any DAB stations? Nope. I then tried it trailing the arial cable in a sort of 'zig zag mess' across my dash, and it picked up 52 stations in no time at all. Great I thought; I can live with a messy cable right across my dash - just about. I then decided to drive off, thinking all was well at last - wrong. Whilst in motion, the signal cuts out and is, quite frankly, worse than dear old medium wave. My Tom Tom seems to interfere with it, as does my iPod dock - not to mention my rear window demister! Think twice before ... Read More:

Just had one of these delivered from Amazon and I've got to say it's a pretty damn funky bit of kit!! The postman has only just delivered it and it's working already. Wonders will never cease!
In my experience things rarely do what it says on the tin, and with technology it's always more fiddly than the manufacturers let on, so you buy something only to find it's not compatible with something else or you need to buy some other bit to make it work or upgrade this or download that. And as a result of these previous bad experiences with other brands and products I was so sceptical about this that I nearly didn't buy it
But I have to say, I got it out of the box. I switched it on (fearing the worst), it asked me for the password ... Read More:

I bought this portable dab radio for use whilst walking and cycling, ie for outside pursuits. So I can only vouch for the performance of this device as my main use was as above. The clarity and reception of dab radio is superb with no crackling or hiss from normal FM radio, how ever this radio does not like concrete ie subways and the like. Indoors can be a problem as there can be a problem with reception as the ear phone is the aerial , this wasn`t a dissapointment as this radio is portable and in my eyes designed for out door use which suits my needs perfectly. In short I can`t understand all the negative reviews in relation to reception etc I live in London so reception is not a problem. I would recommend this device to any one using it for outdoor pursuits ... Read More:

Having spent weeks looking at diferent reviews of the Intempo and others,I decided to buy and I am absolutely delighted. It looks great and is so easy to use that I had it working without refering to the instructions- just used them for the little extras. Some reviews talk about the poor sound quality, well unless you are expecting expensive hi fi quality it is great .

I've had this Sony ipod alarm clock for around 4 months now and I must say I am relatively impressed. Sure you may think it is quite pricey for an alarm clock but rest assured it does so much more. I personally was sick of the horrible tin can sound of my old alarm clock and decided that I wanted to wake up to something that actually sounded decent. Don't let the 3W RMS fool you, this alarm clock packs a punch and surprisingly a decent amount of undistorted bass (providing you don't crank it up to its maximum volume - and even then distortion only occurs in songs with a prominant bass track. The sound is also surprisingly expansive for such a small unit and would happily fill a small room - though you wouldnt want to replace your hifi.
I love this item it's great to think I will be able to take it with me on holiday as it came with all the adaptors. What a great product!
Fabulous!!!!

We have this for nearly 12 months and have had no problems the alarm is great there are 4 of them great for if you work different shifts, if I have one gripe it is the remote which is great for basic functions but a pain when you want to select a preset, it is great as a bedside radio the sound quality is OK and the bass is a bit thin but what do you expect from a little unit that looks cool in black next to your bed and the iTouch looks cool except for the white docking cradle that you have to use.

As per most previous reviews, love the sound quality. I know many have asked about iphone - it will play Iphone (3G), you can control the phone with the remote to skip etc, but it will not charge the iphone. It doesn't seem to suffer from the annoying mobile interference noise (that I have yet noticed). Overall, more than worth the money - gives us a version fully iphone 3G compatible and I'll give you 5 stars :-)

To cancel the alarm before it goes off you will need to go press alarm and then press select and press + to change to off. This is the only way the alarm can be stopped.
The information above came from Pure technical support. So, if you wake up before your alarm goes off and want to switch the alarm off (so as to not wake someone else (e.g. Wife/husband/girlfriend/boyfriend)), you have to press three buttons, in the dark, half asleep. And then remember to set it back later....
That is a serious design flaw... oh, and everything that's been said about the poor display is true. You can't read it.

Great DAB radio, well designed with clear well laid out controls. Easy to use and excellent sound for a small speaker, there are treble and bass controls via the menu which help get the sound you like. I bought the black one, the build quality is excellent and the rubbery feel is different. Choice of mains and battery, or the chargepak make this an excellent value radio. Highly recommended.
