For those of you wondering if you can justify spending £400+ on a projector, it's worth it, I shop on Amazon all the time but this is the first time I have ever felt compelled to write a review.
It arrived the day after I ordered, which was a great start. I now have it hooked up to my computer as I'm typing this as well as a PS3. Watching movies, playing computer games, TV - It all looks great. Im not using a screen yet, I'm just projecting it onto a light beige wall and it still looks crisp, clear and smooth. Also I would like to make it clear that setting this thing up is a breeze, you do not need the manual they give you. But even that is well written and very, very helpful. Overall. Ace product. I don't usually leave reviews but relied on them so much when purchasing this that I though I'd give something back.
I've used this to project on a white and a yellow wall and both have a great picture. I dropped one star because as some other reviewers have commented there is an issue playing some DVDs and I'm still not sure why!?!? Other than this the sound quality is good, the picture is good, there is very little noise from the fan and I can have cinema nights without spending a penny. Cheers! >>More Details |

I bought this InFocus x6 project from Pixmania which was offered with a free voucher for a replacement bulb. Pixmania have simply refused to supply the voucher - worse still they refuse to acknowledge that they ever made this promise and want me to refturn the product! The projector is fine - good quality, good price - no problem. The problem is with Pixmania and their sales team. I would recommend not buying this product from Pixmania, if you want this projector buy it from another supplier.

I've recently acquired this projector and am immensely pleased with it. We are using it as a home cinema/game projector and it does the job perfectly. It's easy to identify what sockets you need to plug your machine into and changing the image is incredibly easy. Overall if you are using this in your home its perfect. Got no idea what it would be like in office/school environment!

This is the first projector I have ever purchased so I have not been able to compare to another model. However if you are looking to purchase your first projector I can highly recommend the Optoma HD65.
Within 5 minutes of getting it out of the box it was up and running after simply connecting a HDMI cable and power lead to the back. The controls are simple and its possible to focus the image and zoom to your desired size in less than 20 seconds! I have it running at about 90" to 100" inches depending on what im watching and the image is truly breathtaking!! My Xbox 360 looks fantastic.
