This was my first webcam as I needed to communicate with friends abroad.
The webcam is really easy to set up (plug & play), and from the description works well with both Skype and MSN Messenger. Unfortunately, the sound (mic) is terrible with MSN Messenger, my friends can barely hear me but it works OK with Skype so my friends and I ended up switching to Skype. I bought this a while back as it states it works on mac mini. It does, but it involves downloading external drivers that take a long time to find on your own, and even then it only works on one or two programs. None of these are skype. In fact, it is so non-compatible with skype that every time \i try to make a call with it plugged in, skype crashes. I sent skype all the details of what happened, including all of the code and terminal readings generated on my computer... and after well over a month or maybe even two... they haven't figured out why it won't work.
