I have a small LCD HDTV, and the first thing i noticed when plugging in the wii via scart is that the quality of the picture was terrible. I was saddened moreso when i discovered that the wii has minimal HD output.
I bought this cable in hope to get a vastly improved picture quality, and while it admittedly improved the sharpness overall, it isn't enough to say it's a formiddable jump. I'd highly recommend this cable for anybody with an HDTV, but do not expect a massive overhaul of the picture quality. More often than not it simply highlights the sharp edges and bad textures in games like zelda, which were made for a smaller resolution (gamecube port).
