well what can you say , its all in the packet , just a simple kit to run in an extra satalite outlet , did job fine , i did how ever add a line amplifier just in case , and splitter passes the voltage fine alone feed to amp .

This is a compact receiver, about the same size as a freeview box. It works well, though the free scart cable is of poor quality. You can use it at home, and for camping as it has a 12 volt socket. It doesn't seem to need a particularly good signal.
However the manual is awful. I know a bit about satellite and I found it hard going. Technical terms are used without explanation and sections are included without telling you whether you are likely to need them for a normal set-up. To a non-technical person it could be daunting or baffling. What is needed is a cut-down explanation, in simple steps, about how to set it up for normal use.
