After craving a Psion organiser for many years, I took the plunge some time back while on e-bay (Amazon is even better!).
I found the Psion far out weighed any wild hopes I had of it, and while it may be blak & white touch screened only, it's crystal clear and sharp to read. Diary (years of, reoccuring dates & anniversaries), contacts (100's of Filofaxed addresses and contacts), all my phone details (1 yr old phone infrared beamed to a 7 year old Psion), pages of notes, jottings, reminders, and sketches etc etc all sitting on about 2mb out of 16mb, not including the 256mb card for backup! I bought the psion from an electronics shop around a year ago and it is on of the best machines for the money you can buy. Its best features that rank it over the more expensive but unuseable PDA's are: - It includes multi-tasking which allows you to go on more than one program at once. - An internal memory of 256Kb. More than enough for my personal use or for a small businessman. - QWERTY keyboard for ease of use. - Load up your spreadsheet or word documents and add to them whilst on the move - Create your own word and spreadsheet document - Manages your time effectively!! - to do lists, calendar and reminders help keep your life organised - Sound recording - Can be connected to any computer to exchange files ... This psion is a great buy and i recoomend anybody who is on a budget and wants a cheap but good organiser and word proccesor. The agenda and contacts are good but the wap browser is complicated and hard to setup. The keyboard is not quite big enough to be able to touch type, but if you would like one for touchtyping maybe the series 5mx is better. Also it would be better with a backlight but on the whole for a cheap price it is brilliant. This is the ideal solution for a note taking person, and doesn't want a laptop. It is brilliant to sychronise with your computer or laptop through infared or com port. >>More Details |

I have just bought a Revo Plus - great little PDA, OK so it hasn't got a light which is a pain but its OK.
My biggest bug is that I can't get it connected to my PC - I up-dated the PsiWin to run on 2000/XP AND bought a standard Serial/USB connector lead. Played around with the baud rates and still no luck.........can anyone help and offer some advice?? I see Amazon keep a Psion USB/Serial lead - therefore does it have to be a certain lead to cope with it?? >>More Details |

When I first bouht my Series 5mx i wasn't too sure about it's compatibility. Now I have realized how much better the Series 5mx is rather than a Palm. It has easy features such as printing to a printer via the infared port and with the right software it has the ability to change the t.v. without your t.v. remote!

This product is an excelent addition to the psion range there are many printers that it is compatble with i recomend this product to antone who needs to print without first conecting to a computer (If you were in a rush)Also this product is able to be pluged into any printer so it is verry good for taking to any place where you might be wanting to print. A definate thumbs up for psion.

A big selling point for this PDA is the 'take it with you on business' point. Bit of an oversight then, as the power supply here is limited to 240v only. If you need it for America or Middle-East (ie 110v), then you will have to by a small transformer or another different power supply. Other than this, it is fine, easy to use, very reliable and compact.

This light, clever, fast, versatile machine is all I need when on the move. Absolutely brilliant - uploading and downloading Word, WordPerfect, Excel, etc., all extremely straightforward, not to mention e-mail, internet, and IR printing capability. Why isn't everyone raving about them? One small thing: please, Psion, have someone write some games for them to make them fun as well super-practical!
