Well let me say that I really liked these earphones. When my first pair arrived I liked them so much I immediately ordered a second as the price seemed so reasonable. They certainly did the job of cutting out the thumping dance beats at the gym and allowed me to listen to podcasts and my own choice of music in relative peace. When the first pair lost sound in the right earpiece after a few months use I assumed I might have snagged the cord and caused it myself; so I simply opened pair number two. But when exactly the same fault occurred, I read this comments list more fully and saw that others had suffered exactly the same fate. Arrived this morning- such a difference from the normal ipod headphones. They are sooo much better. The sound quality is excellent, they are comfy and a reasonable price as well. Very good product.

Before i was playing the ps3 on a 1080p tv but at standard definiion quality but thanks to this cable i now play at the full 1080p and it just looks incredible also watching blu-ray movies is fantastic especially on modern titles with plenty of action.

It works and it's cheap. But the picture quality on movie playback is poor by HD standards. The picture was washed out and really lack colour depth. Also the picture really lacked sharpness leading to a very flat picture lacking any punch. If you stick with this cable you might as well carry on buying regular DVD's as you are simple not getting the best from HD.
When you compare this with a mid range cable you'll see the difference. I compared it with a QED Qunex HDMI-SR and the difference was significant. This was verified by my wife who is always sceptical of the cost of equipment. This cable is great, it may not be the most expensive on the market and it may not have the designer name that some of the other cables have, but I have to be honest I really couldn't tell the difference! I know you see all the stats and the product description tells you how much better the 50 pound cable will be but to the naked I it will make such little difference its unbelievable. If you have a reasonable HDTV you shouldn't have any worry at all. If you don't which incidentally I dont (I have a 350 pound Hanspree 37") you probably wont notice the difference anyway. In my house we have my CHEAP TV with my CHEAP cable and my dad has a 2000 pound SONY with a very expensive cable. We played alongside each other a couple of times to see the difference ... Read More:

I've had a set of these for around three months and have used them for maybe five hours a week. I was delighted with them at first. They produced very good sound, were comfortable and, crucially, stayed put - very important when you're dogwalking and need your hands free for handling a large dog, as is the case with me.
However, it's been necessary to deploy the supplied extra earpads already, as the first set have worn out, and a crack has appeared in the outer cable sleeve near the earpiece, exposing the inner cables. This is very poor performance,given that the earphones have not been subject to anything approaching poor treatment in their short life. I purchased these speakers for travelling, but they are really too big to put in my case. However, the sound is very good, it has these sensative volume controls, which are OK I suppose, Because it's really meant for an ipod (it has a docking station), it also has a cable running from the rear to connect to any MP3,but it is very short.
I am sure I will find some use for it around the house. It looks good, and appears to be well made. >>More Details |

Although the sound quality of these earphones is good, they seem to be made for people who are 5ft 6ins or smaller, with asymmetrical bodies.
The right ear cable is 18ins long but the left one is only 8ins long. I am 6ft 2ins tall, which is not unusually tall, and if I have my MP3 player in the pocket of my jeans, the left cable does not reach my ear. It's OK if I'm wearing a jacket (so pockets are therefore nearer to my head), but even in this cracker of a summer we're experiencing, I find a jacket too warm to wear, so jeans/trouser pockets are my only choice. I have to lean in a most awkward way to my left, in order to fit the earphone into my left ear, and I fail to understand why both left and right ear cables could not be the same length......at ...
