After a couple of frustrating hours with this kit and the supplied TV software ( No channels found, no activity on the LED on the dongle to let me know it was even active ) I was ready to give up. I googled around and found GB-PVR. Its a much more advanced bit of software and it found around 20+ channels. That'll do me.

If like me you have wasted good money looking for a USB TV stick that works with Windows Media Center in Vista, then look no further. The Hauppauge WinTV-Nova-T works perfectly. Just install the drivers provided on disk and away you go. Can't tell you about the WinTV software as I didn't install it, but it does work well with Total Media 3 software, which I also use.
Fantastic picture quality, which even My Wife (who doesn't notice these things), commented on.
Mounted in the kitchen, it even gives me more Freeview channels (Due to a sensitive receiver), than my 42 inch TV in the living room, On My roof arial.
It has features on it as standard that you would expext on a more expensive unit. Operating also as a digital photo frame, working from a memory card, USB memory stick or a disk, with variable delay between pictures. Also the full function DVD, which so fsr ahs played every format I have thrown at it, including AVI and MPG, and Non British films.
All told, I highly recommend this unit as a "Must Buy", due to it's supremacy over cheaper inferior units.

I bought this Freeview TV media player after seeing it on the T3 website and did a search on Google. I did not expect too much but just wanted to find out what this small TV can do. It surprised me with the picture quality and features as a media player. The picture is much clearer than I could imagine when there is signal and the picture for video playback is also very good, it can also slideshow while viewing pictures, very clearly.
As I live in an area where the signal is not very strong, the fixed telescope aerial does not function. It however works in Enfield very well. Another downside is that the built-in speaker is not loud enough in day time if used in a pub although it is about all right if used in my office.
i got this dvd player an was impressed by the Fantastic picture quality...i had a few problems witht he Unit and the Good People at Feastronics offered a complete unit for the Old on...wow thats customer service at its best.
