Excellent product that does what it says on the tin!
Purchased in a timely fashion from Amazon a few days ago, this is my second GPS receiver. Satellite acquisition is very fast, the screen is very clear and the map detail is adjustable (this was a very important feature for me as I like as little detail as possible to be displayed). The system software updated after online registration and the European maps updated to the 2009 version for free (you have 61 days to perform this free update). The directions produced compared to my previous machine over known routes seem better and the screen update when passing through complex junctions is very fast. What can I say but simply the best item I have brought on on Amazon this year! ok I am a bit of an Amazon virgin, I have only brought six items off Amazon altogether.But, I am extremely fussy about anything I buy and believe me this case smells just like a new leather coat, fits my Garmin Nuvi 250W like a dream and is just quality all the way. If you need a leather case then don't waste your time looking else where!

I have seen the same product and brand from halfords, they are still selling £6.99. But you only have to pay just over £2 from amazon, I just can't see where you could get one cheapper than here.

I bought this for my new nuvi 200W, the version delivered to me wasn't open ended but had a full flap that is held in place by 2 magnetic clips. Looks nice, feels nice but would benefit from a plastic screen cover.

Hi, Just thought i'd leave a quick review for the Garmin Forerunner 50 inc USB ANT Stick. I bought this item from Amazon along with footpod, heart rate monitor and bike GSC10 speed sensor. As usual Amazon delivery was faultless, all arrived safe ontime and well packed.
The Product, well i have to say the instructions with the watch are not the best, but within an hour i had everything setup for my profile on the watch and using the Garmin Training center software (quick download from there site) on my pc laptop. PC software drivers all loaded first time and very quickly and very simple to understand the Training Center application. Its leather, it holds the sat nav, it has a credit card pocket and it protects the screen.
Doesn't have a flap or strap to hold the sat nav in as others have said but I haven't had it fall out yet. At 99p its a bargain! I paid over a tenner for mine (damn) hence only 4 stars. If you have the compatible sat nav I suggest you get this, >>More Details |

Having never used any other device I cannot offer a comparison but I am delighted with this piece of kit. I would swap this for my ipod if I had to as it is the best running companion you could wish for. The "virtual partner" is fantastic and keeps you motivated to stay with the pace all the way.
Being able to see your heart rate, calories burnt, distance covered, pace, time, gradiant and so much more during your run is invaluable. The on-line graphs are brilliant as well. I think it's my new best friend. I find the only downside is if it rains and then the bezel takes on a mind of it's own, jumping from screen to screen over and over.
