This series of flash drives is really very slim - 4 mm without the protective skin, 6 with it. Solid, reliable performance; good value for money; a lot of memory in a tiny package.
And cheap - so cheap that the postage is more expensive than the product, which I find rather weird. And if you buy more than one, the postage remains the same - that is, they don't give you a discount. Therefore four stars rather than five. But still a cheap and cheerful piece of kit!

Although this flash drive is very nicely made Mac users should be aware that it is not fully compatible with the Mac OS. The drive launches a U3 system icon, the software of which is designed to allow transportation of applications as well as data, and this is non-functional on Macs. The flash drive storage partition itself works normally but you are faced with a CD-Rom icon on your desktop every time you insert the stick. SanDisk has just made available a U3 system removal tool for OS X 10.5 Leopard. This seems to work fine although you need to download Cruzer utilities from SanDisk. All-in-all this is a very classy drive. Just be aware of the additional steps necessary if you are a Mac user and wish to remove the U3 system.

unfortunately, despite stating it twice in the description, this card does not come with the ProDuo adapter. I am sure the card by itself is great, but without the ability to move it from device to PC, it is next to useless for me. I have found it extremely difficult to find genuine Sony or Sandisk memory cards, so I turned to Amazon as a more reliable supplier and still I don't get what it says in the description.

This is an SDHC card not a plain SD so check your device is compatible. That said it works well in my Treo 680 palm smart phone and means I don't have to carry round a separate USB memory stick! Seems robust enough and the little led in USB mode is a nice touch (so you know its in the right way round). Highly recommended after a few months use!

Really solidly build, with the normal U3 startup / program management system. Personally I like U3, but it's easy to remove if you don't (or prefer an alternative like "Portable Apps").
I did find that on one occasion when I pulled it out after the PC had hung that it had completely corrupted...a nasty state of affairs that required me to buy data recovery software (the software is very expensive, despite being from the manufacturer!!). It could be that this is down to Vista , but at least you would expect free recovery software - it never happened on my 2GB U3 Kingston in over 3 years!
I could have just reformatted for free of course - but it was vital data: I should have kept a backup!
If you are tired of having cables all around your desk especially if you use a laptop, and even more a Mac laptop, wants a fast way to transfer your pictures from you memory cards from your camera/camcorder and wants a clean space to work on due to not having cables collecting dust, this product is what I recommend to you. The ExpressCard slot on my MacBook Pro has been there, all alone with no use at all, until I realized that I could put an end to the messy cables on my desk by taking away the unnecessary ones and using adapters like this one to get photos from my camera and with the added plus of higher speed transfers. Now I have my iPhone 3G cable, which I use to charge my phone and the Magsafe adapter to power the laptop. My desk looks much ... Read More:
