This removable disk is reallllllly good. One of the people who left areview said that the software preinstalled cannot be uninstalled.THIS can be done, just have to look through the settings. The tour of the disk tell you this. Provides fast transfer speeds and good storage. The only thing i would say is that even though 2GB is given, you actually get 1.80Gb or something like that becuase the preinstalled software takes space. I have the 8MB Sansa View that I bought to replace my ageing 4GB iPOD.
For music its great. It has one major drawback and that is the software that you need from Sandisk to convert pictures and videos to the specific format for the player. The software (Sansa Media Converter) stops Windows Media Center (Vista) from working. Sansa do not know if it is a clash with WMC or some types of TV card. Anyways, to be able to watch TV again I have to uninstall the Sansa software. If I want to download photos or videos then I have to reinstall the Sansa software. Good - it's about £100 cheaper than anything else I could find that allowed me to easily convert old videos to mp4, record TV in a PSP friendly format, and generally replace my old video recorder with a digital equivalent. It's also very small, easy to set up and allows instant recording as well as scheduled recording. Finally, it accepts many different memory cards and even acts as a memory card reader.
Bad - the remote takes a lot of getting used to. The buttons are clunky and it requires very careful aiming at the main box to work. The sound is also often very poor on the recordings.
