I bought this charger months ago, and was always wondering why They took ages and ages to charge, and the Led light remained on. Also two of the points became powdery, and on close inspection, there was battery leakage, so I had to throw out good batteries. I agree with the last reviewer, and thank you Paul for pointing that out. I use a Digital camera and this type of charger is definitely not to be considered, if you can not stand to wait...and wait...

I had to buy a new charger as my Energizer one broke without any reason. Moreover the Energizer batteries were really bad quality, after 3 weeks they almost stop working and I could only use them once fully loaded for 1 hour on my camera.
On the other hand with the Uniross I can keep my batteries in my cameras for several days without needing to charge it. Good stuff and good quality, and cheap!

Have now had this approx 2 weeks and so far so good. I had previously bought the "Uniross Charger Xpress 300", which worked for a grand total of 5 minutes, and never again after!! So I was dissappointed and hesitant about buying a recharger and had more or less resigned myself to a life of the eco-unfriendly but nevertheless ubiquitous disposables. But I saw this, read the overall favourable reviews, and thought that I'd gamble a fiver! And so far I am impressed! Though early days, it has already outlived my Uniross Charger Xpress 300 by a thousand miles!!! Once bitten twice shy!
I would recommend getting a USB extension cable, as depending on the model of the computer and where/how the USB slots are located, this recharger won't fit into ... Read More:

The other reviewer loved these, so I may have a faulty batch, but left in a device they lose charge within a few days. I've replaced them with soem other rechargeables and will be returning these.

These batteries represent a considerable saving versus ordinary disposable batteries as these should provide over 500 charges at a purchase cost of around £6 for 4. Disposable batteries are about £2.50 for 4 so over just 10 charges that's £19 saved (as the electricity to charge costs a fraction of a penny). Imagine the savings after 50 or 100 charges of batteries used in a wireless gamepad...
Also rechargeable batteries last much much longer in high drain uses such as cameras and LED lights so overall are a great choice.

It does the job, the only problem I've found is that the hinge is pretty poor so if you were to try and use it while cycling over bumps it would keep drooping!

Like the other user, I was also very surprised at the £6 delivery charge for these batteries. These little batteries weigh nothing - certainly not the 454g it states in the product description.

This charger is clearly marketed as charging 4 2700mAh batteries in one hour. It doesn't. Despite Amazon's listing saying so, the instructions state 2 hours, which is how long it takes.
Charger works fine, but if you want a one hour charger for 4 batteries, look elsewhere for one more honestly described...
