I have used this product for 2 weeks, printed 4 photos and 10 letters. The black ink cartridge is already down to half full. I am happy with the printing quality, but it is soooo slow. Put into print, and then go and make yourself a cuppa. I mean, the 1st photo I did, I thought there was a problem with the printer feeder because I couldn't see the paper moving through.

The initial printer set up was straight forward.

I would not recommend this product. There are good reasons why it is so cheap.

Hi,

First off the 3G owners, you may have seen a review on here saying it works for the iphone 3G, this is true but has a very big issue. My review of 3 stars has nothing to do with the 3g aspect, please read further down if the iPhone does not apply....

iPhone 3G
---------
When you plug your 3g phone into the cradle it displays (on the phone) "This Device is not designed for your phone do you wish to activate airplane mode to stop fm interference?". Now I didn't expect this based on the previous review, I told the phone to leave the phone active, when I started playing music via the fm transmitter everything was fine. Until, I left the music playing a jumped into maps, at which point the whole signal went all ... Read More:

I can't recommend this mouse highly enough. I've got a laptop running Vista and a 5G iMac and it works perfectly on both. In fact, I've stopped using my Apple mighty mouse at all. The build quality is superb, the USB dongle is impossibly small and slots neatly into the bottom of the mouse when not in use. It comes with a mini USB dock for computers with USB ports at the rear only. The added mouse functions are really useful, (back/forward buttons for faster Web navigation) and the mouse comes in a neat protective pouch. The whole package just oozes quality. I can't see myself ever wanting to use a different mouse. 5 out of 5.

Overpriced and lacking in ink. Just bear in mind that most manufacturers won't repair or replace printers that have used third party inks. Not that that would stop me!

The Good:

This wifi card has a great range on it. My previous card could connect @ 18mbps max, only if orientated perfectly. This card happily connects to my network @ 36mbps. Very good considering there are two entire floors and the card is on the opposite side of the house to the router. The connection has been quick and stable since installation.

The installation itself was only marred by the lack of Vista drivers on the CD, otherwise it went smoothly.

The Bad:

No Vista drivers supplied on CD. These were available on Edimax's website though, and were easily downloaded.

The supplied USB extension lead isn't perfect. The dongle has a tendancy to come loose, and thus render it unusable. However, if ... Read More:

Wow, this thing is just so far head of everything else. It's a gorgeous bit of kit , & not too slim , like some of the compacts, but it is still small. The Titanium coating on the stainless steel body is gorgeous & makes it tougher & more scratch resistant. The menu system is a dream plus very easy to use. Having just upgraded from a "Big"Fuji 6800 that I bought in 2000, this seems tiny & hi-tech. Other than all the mega pixels , the main draw point for me was the inclusion of an optical view-finder which can extend your shot capacity per battery charge by having the screen off. The Fuji had one , but it is almost impossible to find a compact with one these days. I hate composing your shot on the screen, I must be old fashioned I guess, but I love having the big screen ... Personally I find the sound quality of the CX500s very good and they are comfortable headphones with a useful range of accessories. The noise isolation is reasonable for the price, though one byproduct of this is very noticeable "cable rub" noise.

This may seem an unusual complaint (though I've seen it mentioned in a number of other reviews) but the packaging really is appalling. You have to work hard not to slice yourself and the headphones to pieces whilst hacking your way in. I am guessing it is designed this way to make them difficult to return to shops once opened, but it is both a waste of plastic and a real annoyance.

These speakers are fine for the price and I've always had a high regard for Creative products and considered it worth paying a bit more for reliability and build quality. However, my disappointment with these speakers is not to do with their audio performance but, as a powered product designed to work with a computer, they have included a power adapter that is so wide it prevents adjoining sockets being used. With most PCs having monitors, external drives, printers and scanners hanging off them this becomes a serious and frustrating issue. I have a 6-way power extension and the Creative PSU takes up two sockets, even at the end slot. It would take-up three in the middle. How did their design team miss this??? So, 3 Stars for stupidity.
