WD keep updating the outside of the box, but don't seem to have done anything about the fundamental problem which a lot of reviewers (including myself) have experienced: namely, after about 18 months you will get an I/O error, followed by clicks, followed by the disk being totally inaccessible. WD will provide a replacement, but all your data will be lost. This was a great storage solution until the day it died. As a permanent solution, experience has shown it to be unreliable.

I bought this as I needed a larger card for my PSP.
I've since realised it's a fake. The card has begun to split open and MagicGate is not supported (so it won'r work properly with the PSP). DON'T BUY IT. Buy from a reputable seller (Amazon directly, or another well known trader)...yes it may be £10 more, but it will last and work properly. I have contacted the seller for a refund, but so far no reply has been forth-coming. It's amazing how Amazon still let these guys trade on their website. Using these as replacement for supplied earphones and no wonder I was getting ear irritation, these with the supplied rubbers for ear insertion make listening a very comfortable experience.

i have had one of these but it didnt work in any of my cameras or my pc or my pocket pc it was fulty and i sent it back 2 weeks ago and i am still waiting for another one or a refund , i got a email of them today saying that they are having staff problems ? are they going bust....

My USB keys get a lot of use and I've gone through three in two years, the last one was a Buffallo 8gb. which broke in two after about 6 weeks so it's replacement needed to be both quick and tough. This little device fits the bill nicely!
It's as fast as the Buffallo was (very) and looks pretty indestructible. As for the cap, it can easily be attached using a small piece of fishing line passed through a small hole in the end (use a hot needle) and knotted on the inside. This ipod is the best i have owned. once again it only gets 4 stars! ....................... want to know why??
because of the poor quality earphones you get with them. spend over £120 for it and the earphones are awful. mine went straight in the bin, and i splashed out for the bose in-earphones. make such a difference. other than that the mp3 player is top notch!!!! well recomended >>More Details |

I've uploaded a couple of photos of what I received from Amazon on 2-Aug-2008; the microSDHC card and SD adapter.
The card works with my HTC-S710 Windows Mobile Smartphone. It amazes me that such a tiny card can hold so much data and cost so little. It's so small that it isn't something I want to take out and put back into my phone on a regular basis because it is so fiddly to handle; I'll leave the data transferring to Bluetooth. >>More Details |

Just to add to all the other reviews, the whole device retracts into its case protecting the USB connector. This avoids the need for a separate cover which can easily be mislaid.

Received very quickly from a top supplier. Just go the the edge-ds website and download the latest OS onto your PC. Then open the folder and extract all files onto the supplied micro sd card through the supplied card reader. Once done, add NDS Roms to the card in the same way and you're away. There are plenty of websites out there where you can download these Roms, but only for back up purposes of course.
