Having studied previous reviews of this and similar products, I decided to spend my money on the Grifin iTrip. What a waste of money this has turned out to be. Maybe I have a bad one but there is a constant high piched whine accompanying anything that is being played, the sound quality is punctuated with hiss, crackle and pop (new breakfast cereal) and despite using all of the provided pre set frequencies and a lot of my own, the problem does not go away. It does all that it promises.
I know nothing of Sky + or whatever, so can't compare its recording function for ease-of-use. I've found it all easy to use so far. It's very quick and simple to set it to record to HDD a program by just choosing it from the daily listings on the Freeview menu. However, as I think someone has pointed out on a forum here, I'm very surprised there's no way to record (to any format, VHS, HDD or DVD) one channel and watch a different channel at the same time. Yes, while recording TV you can watch an already-recorded medium (on VHS, HDD or DVD), but nothing live. This is especially odd as this machine boasts two TV tuners, one digital, one analogue. Have just received my G9 and first impressions are very good. However, the 'get your started' manual is totally inadequate because of its brevity. This means that you have to print out the full manual on the supplied pdf file if you want to use the camera properly. And it is about 270 pages! I would rather pay £5 more for the camera if it was complete with a bound and printed manual.

This product has a big problem. I bought the 4gig one and an 8 gig mem card. You cannot copy any files to the memory card via the sofware, if you can, I cannot find how to do it. Feels very cheap and plasticky, screen dull, sound poor. Not worth the £43 I paid. I packaged it up and sent it back.

Hi, Just thought i'd leave a quick review for the Garmin Forerunner 50 inc USB ANT Stick. I bought this item from Amazon along with footpod, heart rate monitor and bike GSC10 speed sensor. As usual Amazon delivery was faultless, all arrived safe ontime and well packed.
The Product, well i have to say the instructions with the watch are not the best, but within an hour i had everything setup for my profile on the watch and using the Garmin Training center software (quick download from there site) on my pc laptop. PC software drivers all loaded first time and very quickly and very simple to understand the Training Center application. My son has one of these to operate his D80. The other day he left it in his jeans and it did 40 minutes at 40°. Luckily my wife spotted it before it went onto the spin cycle.
