The best of a variety of external HDD's I've used. I store VMware images on mine, and my virtual machines run great even though they're on a USB drive. With the compact size, and the fact that it is cool and quiet I highly recommend.

As you have experience before with Sony TV, Digital Camera's this is a great product from Sony. Good picture quality automatic rotation with censor control. Multiple storage supported and different previews you can setup give you great values to your pictures and nice gadget to your room. It's worth for the money you spend.
I would like if it adds following features in next model Sony release,
- Wifi connectivity to share pictures remotely
- simple mp3/mpg/mp4 player where you can have some background music while watching pictures or watch divx movies when you way from home ;)
- may be usb power input and handling where you can plug keep it near your PC/laptop with out additional power adaptor makes it really ... Read More:

I have noticed very few mac reviews for this drive so here goes. Luckily mac uses Fat32 so no need to reformat the drive to NTFS. The drive comes preloaded with the Turbo USB program for Mac, let me say this is a godsend. I am able to transfer over 70GB from one external drive to the new Buffalo in about 30 minutes, that is fast. The drive makes the usual little noises that external drives make but nothing that would distract you in any way. The drive is well designed visually and looks good with my Macbook. The powere on/off feature is great, as I all I have to do the turn it on is plug it into a usb port, and to turn off just eject the drive from my mac.
Overall the drive offers great transfer speeds, looks, and fantastic value!

After using compatible cartridges in my old Epson C62 printer I am convinced that they contributed to it eventually clogging up. After purchasing my Canon Pixma 4500 I was determined to stick with the correct cartridges and was delighted when I was able to purchase a full set of cartridges from Free Ink Shop for £36.99 incuding P&P. This was cheap compared to nearly £60 for a pair of genuine cartridges for my old Epson. The results from my Canon are excellent.

This product has a big problem. I bought the 4gig one and an 8 gig mem card. You cannot copy any files to the memory card via the sofware, if you can, I cannot find how to do it. Feels very cheap and plasticky, screen dull, sound poor. Not worth the £43 I paid. I packaged it up and sent it back.
