I bought this PDA for professional use, I mean to access literature 24 hrs but
1. Speed is fast, it is problematic when I use programs from SD card. I have to wait more than 4-5 seconds for display if I open new file. However programs on PDA memory are opened at fast speed.
2. It occasionally gets "hanged" and I have to take out battery.
3. I have to readjust display brightness many times

An excellent assistant in every way... and extremely powerful to keep up with the job. The bluetooth functionality goes very well with my....Mobile Phone, allowing me to see my mail whenever I feel like it. The conectivity is also great, having 3 different means of communication (USB, Bluetooth, InfraRed). Certainly lacks the WLAN capabilities of the new iPAQ H5450, but if you're not going to use WLAN, this one will do just fine. It runs Word, Excel extremely well, allowing you to take your work with you for meetings. Great for e-books, great for games, very decent autonomy, not very heavy. Worth buying.

This light, clever, fast, versatile machine is all I need when on the move. Absolutely brilliant - uploading and downloading Word, WordPerfect, Excel, etc., all extremely straightforward, not to mention e-mail, internet, and IR printing capability. Why isn't everyone raving about them? One small thing: please, Psion, have someone write some games for them to make them fun as well super-practical!

I bought this product only a couple of months ago. Yes I realise that I am about 3 years behind the times, but it seemed to have all the features, looked stylish and impressive. So I shed out the cash, I received it and was pleasantly surprised. Nice colourful screen, camera that's fun and not bad for a portable device, Bluetooth and nice tablet style screen movement.
Only thing I couldn't get to work no matter how hard I tried was the Wi-Fi. I have read a lot about it on forums and so forth and have not really found a definitive answer, but the problem is quite a regular occurrence (something to do with the hardware), but this is not a problem for me, but should be looked into by people needing Wi-Fi.
I have just spent a weekend with this machine and have emptied the battery of this baby 3 times. The games that it ships with are simple, easy to use and hideously addictive. The screen is great. The whole machine is light, and extremely portable without being "too light" (where some machines feel badly made!).
The Windows XP look makes many users feel straight at home. The transcriber software (which tries to read your hand writing and convert it into text) is very accurate and easy to use, pocket word excel etc are very familiar looking and you instantly feel at home using it.
I have been weighing up the Tungsten T3, and even though this ipaq is almost half the price in some shops I'd prefer this IPAQ every time!

It is a great pocket pc - it has all the pc functions that you'll ever need in the palm of your hands. It is rated as one of the top PDA's on the market. You have to have one, if you don't already...
